"We booked this property for a 4-night stay on a trip to Cedar Point. This property was definitely in the top 3 worst hotel stays I have ever experienced, if not my number 1. I stood in the room after opening the door and contemplated going back to the desk and getting a refund, but I didn't have any other options. The staff was polite, but the room itself was a complete hardware and maintenance failure. There seemed to be zero housekeeping, and we weren't even provided with towels upon check-in. The bathroom infrastructure was broken, featuring a leaking mini-fridge and a toilet seat completely detached on one side. From a security and physical standpoint, the room felt incredibly sketchy. The door lock barely functioned, and the interior door handle literally came off in my hand. As a tech professional, I felt completely unsafe leaving valuables like my laptop in the room. I have low standards for a budget motel, but this property failed on basic safety, cleanliness, and structural integrity. Save your money and look elsewhere."

"I'm going to start this by saying I only paid $40cad a night. If I had paid the average nightly rate, my review would look VERY different. My daughter and I needed a place close to Cedar Point, just to rest our heads before and after a day at the park. This place did the trick. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was amazing. I was impressed with the pillows, microwave, and fridge. The last place I stayed only had a small fridge (this one is still small, but not AS small) and cost me over $400 a night. The review I left them was terrible lol. The pool looked welcoming from a distance. Parking right below was convenient. The only negatives I can mention are that there is no elevator, so we had to lug our stuff to the second floor, the main halls were kind of gross, which made me even more shocked when we entered the room lol. The noise was an issue- we heard everything in the halls, and the tv from the room next to us all night (thank goodness it was just a tv lol). For the price I paid, I would stay again. For $100+ a night, I likely wouldn't."
