"Quiet location, beautiful grounds with walkways, fish pond, gardens, and pineapple plantation. Good for a get away from the city. Obviously was the place to be about 20 years. Now it has very few guests and has seen better days in terms of facilites (restaurant was closed, no boat on the pond, no bicycles for guests, etc). We stayed three nights and only on one night was one other room occupied. But very relaxing compared with staying in Mae Sai or Chang Sien. You need a car to stay here."

"Very nice property if you want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle, but if you plan to visit the city, it is a bit far off from the tourist areas. Also, there is very limited dining options in the evening in the immediate vicinity, and not everyone would be comfortable walking in this area after sunset. That being said, the property is beautiful, the rooms clean, and the staff/owners were very friendly and helpful."
