“Excellent deal”

When I entered my room I had to double-check the price I reserved. For the price I paid, the room was modern and palatial. My only complaint is that I felt the wireless internet access was overpriced, even for a hotel.

Great value for the cost. It's across the street from the train station, clean, and offers a good breakfast within the rate.

“Good place for o'night stop”

Clean hotel with pleasant staff - good English too. Lobby & rooms very IKEA stylish, if a bit small. Two singles in room rather than 1 larger bed - guess it's European convention, but not a good night's sleep on a 1m wide mattress. Overnight parking for free behind hotel, rather than pay money for underground option.

“First Hotel Kolding”

Not bad, not great. Good value for the money. The room was clean, but very small and not very comfortable. Location is right downtown which is nice. Finding the entrance to the hotel was a little tricky. Parking is in an underground garage. This hotel is better suited for the tourist than the business traveler due to the room layout. Very difficult to work in the room. The wireless connection did not work from my room, but did work from other areas of the hotel. Will probably stay somewhere else my next visit to Kolding. If I was just visiting as a tourist, the location is ideal.
