“Palace hotel heviz highly recommend”

Fantastic hotel, great food, staff friendly, great food, spa and pool lovely, great food, can't wait to go back. No kettle in rooms so take your own. Great food!!!

“Nice new hotel”

The hotel was brand new and was very spacious and good quality. Surpised to find a stove top and fridge. Would be a good place for a family. The beds were not the most comfortable, but everything else was fine. Location to the thermal lake was excellent and pool area was quite nice and unexpected. Balcony's were a good size and nice to sit out on and sip some wine after a day at the lake.

“Not for the solo traveller.”

Maybe this hotel would be ok if you were there are part of a couple or in a group. The communal areas were very nice. I went as a solo traveller and i would not recommend others to do so. My room looked like it had not been cleaned since the place opened. I was given dirty towels. I was pushed to the back of every queue and the staff seemed to not want to deal with me. The room i was put in was tiny with no balcony, although it faced directly onto 18 rooms with balconies so i had to keep my curtains shut! From my room it was impossible not to see that some of the empty rooms were much nicer than mine! I asked if i could be moved. The woman said yes but only if i would pay the extra. I said that would be fine but when she checked her computer she realised i had already paid more than the full double room rate and on that basis refused to move me! I was in Hungary for 1 month and this was BY FAR the worst place i stayed including several hostels. The town is nice though!
