“Worth the money”
Bed really comfortable, breakfast too simple.
“good for the price”
for the amount of money spent this hotel met and exceeded ny expextations
“Decent”
The hotel was pretty decent for the price. The employees were a little rude though.
“cheap price but old school experience”
Cheap which was the goal. But it was like stepping back in the past. The countertops where vintage 70's, figured it would have been updated by now, but why rush things. Otherwise clean. The continental breakfast was a joke, they should have said black coffee and a donut.
“LIQUOR STORE NEXT DOOR”
you get wat you pay for,not that bad for a short stay.
“It's good for the money”
The Econo Lodge in E. Hartford is decent for the money that you are paying. I do think that they should leave more towels when two people are staying, I usually bring my own. They need to check their hot water heaters, usually get a cold shower or it takes a very long time for it to turn warm. Other then that, like I said it ok for the price we are paying.
“You get what you pay for”
I founf this hotel was exactly what i expected as far as you get what you pay for. I feel the hotel was clean well stocked and adequate .I would defiently stay here again if i ever needed an inexpensive place to stay in the area again
“Good For UCONN Football”
The location was great for its proximity to UCONN field (and Cabelas). That is where it stops. The room had an odor from entry to exit. There was no hot water. When the front desk was informed of this "let it run for five minutes" was the reply. Thank God I only stated the one night.
“Caution!”
The Econo Lodge in E. Hartford is reasonably priced, conveniently located to downtown Hartford, and has a courteous staff. But I would not recommend staying there. The first night they put me in a room that was like stepping into an ash tray. And it didn't seem clean. I'm a non-smoker and they'd put me in a smoking room. They were agreeable about moving me, and put me in a non-smoking room for the next night. (Ask for a non-smoking room if you don't smoke!!!) But in some ways, the non-smoking room was worse. This room also seemed dirty; the light in the bathroom didn't work, and during the night I got a bloody bug bite on my ankle -- in fact, there were streaks of my blood all over the lower part of the sheets. Really, really nasty! If you decide to risk this place, don't stay in rooms 173 to 183, which are the ones nearest check-in. Construction crews checking in for the night pull up and leave their truck motors running -- for long periods of time. So these rooms can be noisy, with rumbling engines that are idling, the resulting exhaust, and noise from the road that borders the place.
“like super 8 motel”
its like super 8s, wireless didnt work at all.
