"The location is excellent by being close to trains, buses, and department stores. The room was tiny but clean. There was no safe to keep your valuables, or a microwave in the room. It was a bit odd to heat up your food in another floor and take it to your room using an elevator. The room cannot be used between 10am and 3pm if you want it to be cleaned, which was a major inconvenience forme."

"The room was clean and recently renovated, the air conditioning can only do heating in winter and cooling in summer. So if its a hot day in winter you have no air conditioning. The internet was very slow and dropped out multiple times during my 1 night stay, I think for the price there are better options around "

"Helpful and friendly staff. The Onsen is very nice especially the outside area that you can hire. The beds were comfortable. Not a lot of space for storage of clothes and luggage in the rooms. The Japanese restaurant in the spa was good and affordable. The Chinese restaurant was good food. The hotel and rooms are dated and need a Refresh. Nice views of the surrounding landscape. 5 min drive to a town with supermarkets and restaurants."

"I’ve stayed at Candeo Omiya several times now and always enjoy my stay there. The rooms are comfortable, staff and friendly and helpful and then rooftop onsen is always a reward at the end of a long day of sightseeing. Tattoos are ok if covered. There’s plenty of convenience stores, shops and department stores very close by and the station is only a few minutes walk away."
