"The Hen House cottage was a great place to stay for our trip in the Durham area. The village of Brandon is a beautiful location for going for walks in the countryside and with a great pub/ restaurant called the Bay Horse Inn on 50m away it’s a perfect place to stay. "There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. "

It was clean, had a good shower and equipped with everything we needed, including some kids toys and dvd’s which came in handy.
