No hot water from showerhead. Moved to another room. No hot water from sink faucet. Smoke detector disconnected. No hair dryer. No coffee maker. Exterior doors into rooms were not locked.

The rooms are decent. The man at the check on desk is rude. But over all i would give it a 6 out of 10.

The staff was nice, But I've never stayed somewhere without 2 nightstands, more than 1 lamp for the entire room, a mirror in the main room would have been nice since the bathroom was 2 small for 2 women to get ready for work. The bed was comfortable and clean. A week of focused energy would work wonders at this facility.

When they booked me in at the front desk, one of the staff members rushed to the room to get it “ready”. When I went in, there was no art on the walls, no remote for the TV, fresh drywall patches on the walls, food and debris on the bathroom walls and truly awful bedding that would slip off the bed during the night because it was a stiff synthetic material . Also, it was a no smoking room that had venting connected to a smoking room so I had to keep the bathroom door closed to keep the neighbors smoke from coming into the rest of the room. The staff was as helpful as they could be and I only stayed because there were no other rooms available during our business event.

Do not stay at this place if tou can afford a better one..it serves its purpose to sleep only. Bedspread is as thin as the sheet. Definitely not cozy, I was changed from room 118 to 116 because shower didn't work room 116 didn't have sufficient and hot water. When hot water came out was only for seconds literally so I only washed my hair. Do not stay at this place in winter that's for sure.

Do NOT stay here! 25 min. to get checked in while I waited in an unheated entry. Q: what time does breakfast start A: I don't know. Q: You don't know?? A: I don't work that shift Got to the building w/our room. Hallway was freezing, room was COLDER! Turned the heat on 75° and waited. And waited! I'll just get in the bed and cover up and wait for it to get warm. Oh waaaait! No blanket. Burr. Walked back (outside) to front desk. Q: may I get a couple of blankets, our room doesn't have one. A: No. Sorry. Q: You're SORRY? Just get a blanket! A: No. I don't have keys to the linens, they took them away from us. Q: lots of open rooms, can you get one from there? A: No. I can't leave the office. Q: Well, I can! Key me into a room..and I'll get it!? A: No. I can't do that. It was now 11pm and we just wanted to sleep. A knock on the door. The maintenance man, here to fix the heater. Apparently, he UNLOCKED it so it would actually come on! I told him about having no blanket. He apologized and said he doesn't have access to the linens.. but he does LIVE here so has an extra blanket if we'd like to borrow it. "Yes please!" He brought it. Not a blanket but a throw, however, it was wonderful and very much appreciated! Finally got to sleep. Woke up. Barely half a roll of not one-ply TP but half-ply! No extra in the room. Back to the front, the rude woman was replaced by a rude man. I knocked to get his attention. He raised his hand and walked farther away toward the coffee machine.

The hot water in the shower didn’t work. They said it was on a timer WHAT. The electric went out in the middle of the night called them it was a breaker said they would come look at it in the morning not. Room had no lock on door. Bathroom door didn’t have a latch so it never stayed shut. Bloody handprints throughout the hallway. Used a rod to lock the sliding door. Completely horrible will absolutely never stay at this place again.

This hotel is the worst! It smelled liked mold. There was a cockroach in the bathroom. No extras. “Free breakfast” was a juice box and chips in a brown bag. Awful place.

Very very very dirty, horrible ambiance ... smell of smoke every where! The so called breakfast had nothing. Only dry toast made 5 days! It is a hazardous motel and should be shut down.

Econolodge high point, NC is terrible!
Econolodge was disgusting. The people at the desk were very very rude. Not nice people. There are people who live in the hotel but after 3 nights we were told to check out and that we couldn't stay any longer. There were roaches coming out from behind the bathroom mirror and something in the bed biting my son. Please, this place is awful don't stay here
