"The staff were amazing and VERY helpful with any requests. The bed was rather too firm for my wife, but OK for me. The hotel was loveley throughout and still retains its old-world charm. The biggest let-down was the shower, which was virtually unusable because the controls were extremely stiff to operate (My wife couldn't manage as her wrists are weak) Even when it worked temperature stability was non-existent. It ranged from dangerously hot to very cold, without the controls being touched! ...

Our (accessible) room was excellent, enough room to manoeuvre my mobility scooter with ease, good wetroom , with soap/shower gel etc in pump bottles instead of those silly little bottles, the bed was a really good height and so comfortable! The sofa and footstool were perfect for resting on after a very busy day, and the food in the restaurant was good. Very happy with our stay!"
