Great budget hotel stay! Got a standard room with 2 queens. Super clean compact room. There is a microwave and a mini fridge with a small freezer in each room. The window opened to a screen, which, for me, is a plus; I like fresh air. I will upgrade to a suite next time because I had to sit in the dark till the kids fell asleep. Lol.
The laundry room has the ice machine. The machines were super affordable and quick. They cleaned mud out of my kids' clothes without a problem.
They have a pool. The temperature was perfect. The shallow end is 3 ft deep. The deep end is 5. Hot hot tub. There is an ADA seat for each. No sauna.
With the exception of yogurt (all flavored, no plain) and peanut butter, the continental breakfast is all carbs. Waffles, muffins, toast, oatmeal, cereal, juice, and fruit. I was hoping for some hard-boiled eggs or cottage cheese, which would be a simple inclusion. They offer coffee, tea, and oatmeal throughout the day in the lobby, which doubles as a gift shop. The woman, Kathy, during the day, is a gem! So kind, it's refreshing.
My only other complaint, besides the breakfast (which is just a personal preference for a protein started day), is that there isn't an elevator. It's only 2 stories, but with 3 kids and a cooler full of stuff, it would have been awesome. But 🤷♀️, it's a Super 8, right?
Anyway, it was a really enjoyable stay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recommend going to Irons Park right down the road.
