The hotel was completely renovated in 2000 and in 2007-2008 it carried out another renovation, this time led by the well-known architect Álvaro Sans. The result is the new Meliá Sol y Nieve, a perfect example of the new trends in hotel design.

“Its perfect”
Its was great, the rooms are very nice, and comfortable, Its near of puerta del sol and plaza mayor I recomend this hotel for business and plesure.
“Expensive”
Not very good value for money, particularly in the high season. Buffet evening meal has quite a wide choice but school dinner standard. Lifts are in continuous use by room maids around breakfast time.
