The property was clean and well maintained. It is located within walking distance of shops, restaurants and takeaways. The owners were welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast they served was delicious. The carpark is small, difficult to manoeuvre and often full.

Amazing bnb and both the hosts Liz and Rich were the most kindest, happy and amazing people. Cant wait to stay again. Our room was beautiful and breakfast every morning was amazing!!

Absolutely beautiful. Lovely verandas to enjoy an afternoon drink. Wonderful breakfast! Best bacon and eggs we have ever tasted. Very friendly and go above expectations. Would highly recommend! Don’t forget the high teas have started again!!!!

Property close to shops and connecting roads for travel. A beautiful old Queenslander home. Sadly no car parking made available for guests so had to park car down the road and walk with luggage up to accommodation. Did not realise that it was more of a restaurant and cafe than accommodation so we had dinning guests all around us, coming into our room trying to find the toilets and dining right outside out door. Hosts were very friendly but I feel focusing more on their new restaurant/cafe expansion rather than accommodation. Smaller room than we had anticipated.

Hi Ruth thank you for your feedback. We are sorry the parking was an issue we had put measures in place to accomodate guest parking. We are also sorry that you were inconvenienced by our high tea guests. We do close by 3pm and are not open to the public until 11am So that our guests can enjoy the balcony areas at leisure. We have only recently started our high teas and take onboard extra signage for the guest bathroom is required. In terms of room size all dimensions are available on the booking website, and due to the property being 112 years old we can’t really change them. Overall I trust you had a good stay and thank you for your honest feedback

Great hosts, very relaxing stay, close enough to the Gold Coast but far enough away from the hussle and bustle of it as well. We'll be back - very much enjoyed our stay.

A gem.
Liz and Rich made us feel most welcome. Our room was great; the breakfast was delightful and the location was fabulous. Our hosts were very knowledgeable about local amenities and attractions. Will definitely stay again when next on the Coast.

The Village B&B was home away from home. Even though we only stayed for 1 night we were greeted with open arms from Liz, the owner, and were treated like family. Best breakfast had in a while.

The property hosts, Liz and Rich, were wonderful and easy to speak with. We arrived very early and they allowed us to use the room straight away. This is a really well presented B & B and it is in a great location. We will stay here any time we travel to this area again in future.

Excellent stay
Liz & Richard are excellent hosts, friendly, welcoming and very informative about local amenities and activities. A first class breakfast is provided and not to be missed. The veranda is a great place to sit and watch the sun go down and the world go by.

Great B&B close to Surfers
We were looking for accommodation, close to Surfers. Excellent location only 15-20 mins from Surfers Paradise. Hosts Liz and Richard are very welcoming, knowledgeable and the room was very clean, comfy bed and fantastic breakfast. Only downfall is that we should have stayed longer.

Simply Fantastic
From the moment you drive toward the property you can't help but be impressed. Our 2 night stay was excellent, very comfortable & hassle free. wonderful experience from start to finish...hosts were informative, helpful and welcoming. Bed was excellent quality, furnishings were tasteful and good quality, the ensuite was sparkling, clean and modern; . Lovely verandah to enjoy drinks and food. Breakfast room gorgeous - beautiful breakfast to order. Couldn't fault the experience.
