"We loved this place as soon as we set our eyes on it, both from the outside and the inside. Plenty of space in all rooms and everything else that you'd need, from wood to make a fire to a few biscuits and tea. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Lovely grounds too. Not too far from the hills for walking or visiting nearby villages and towns. Plenty of local walks too. The pub up the road, The Butchers Arms serves excellent food as well as drinks. "A very well appointed and spacious cottage that was very clean with great facilities and a comfortable bed. It also has good off road parking and a great base for discovering the Cotswolds. We loved it!"

"The Hive is a unique luxury 2 bed apartment. Spacious and comfortable, fully equipped kitchen including espresso maker right in the center of Stow-on-the-Wold. When I say luxury it is high end in every detail from the bedding to the showers and bath. I loved that the four of us could hang out in the living room as our own private space rather than a hotel lobby. The owners were charming and own the restaurant downstairs. The whole experience is 11/10."

"This place was very charming and in an excellent location. very charming, clean, etc. The only things to watch out for are: The stair are small and steep. It was fine for us, but an older person of someone without great balance may not want to stay there. Because of the location (in a charming old village) it was hard to find when we arrived. It was fine, but you you need to arrive after dark make arrangements to have the host meet you."

The well appointed cottage provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay with the added bonus of a car space for our hire car and only a very short walk to the centre of town. In fact we didn’t use the car for the entirety of our stay. The renovated cottage provided all the comforts required whilst still enjoying the authentic experience of a 300 year old home. "Our second stay here and excellent once again especially as the owners kindly accepted a change of plans due to one of our dogs requiring medical care. "Lovely property, just the right size. Perfect location for strolling into town for shopping, restaurants etc. Plush bath & hand towels, well equipped kitchen. Could have provided small body wash lotions, shampoo and conditioners in the bathroom for guest use, but that’s a more minor point. A couple of plates & mugs were already chipped prior to our arrival, so that should be looked after better, prior to guest arrival. Didn’t communicate with the property manager, so gave a 1 star rating there"
