"We love animals and this place had plenty of it. Ducks, Alpacas, Chickens, Birds and most importantly the 2 dogs Jonathan and Patrick who jumped into bed with us a couple of times and even dropped by for breakfast with our dog."

"The house is a simple cottage but offers the perfect escape from the city and reconnect with nature. Each morning we ate our breakfast and drank coffee out on the verandah listening to the birds and looking out at the beautiful views and it so tranquil. This is definitely the highlight of the house."

"My husband and I wanted to have a relaxing weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We’re so glad we booked to stay here. Everything was so easy! MIchael was very quick to respond to any question we had and does everything to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The house has a magnificent large open fire and big free standing bath. The beds and linen are very comfy. Michael is extremely respectful of privacy. We didn’t see him at all during our stay, but he made sure to fill the outside wood box...

"Wonderful location for coat weekend away. The home was wonderful and had everything we needed. It was so warm and both fireplaces made it the perfect winter escape. Judy and Graham were excellent hosts and so responsive! The chooks, cows and alpacas were lovely to visit too."

"Relaxing cottage perfect for an extended weekend getaway. Cottage surrounds are easy to navigate. Fresh eggs from the chickens are a lovely breakfast treat! Very pet friendly accommodation (my dog has realised she wants to be on a farm). Hosts are a world of knowledge for great eats and adventures. Mittagong, Bowral and Berrima short drive away for food and shopping. Plenty of wineries in the area with friendly country vibes."

"We had a phenomenal weekend away with the extended family at Somerton. We enjoyed beautiful walks to see the cattle, admiring the stunning view, nights by the outdoor fire and playing tennis with the family. Judy and Grahman were exceptional hosts and we will most definitely be back again next year."

"What a memorable stay. Carol made our long weekend perfect she is an amazing Hostess.... Our family gathered for some time together in this beautiful surroundings & a cosy fire is always a treat. In addition we bought our horse along........ a holiday destination doesn't get much better then that. Communication was seamless & superb accommodation for the family. "We had an enjoyable week at the lake house. The inside was neat, tidy & pretty well maintained considering the age of the property. The grassed area leading to the lake was a great area for cricket & soccer, and the family enjoyed fishing in the lake. We had 5 adults + 4 kids in the house and it was more than big enough. The pool was a good size & despite being a bit cold (it is not heated) the kids had a lot of fun. The spa took a while to heat but once it got going it was used constantly. The...

"I really enjoyed my stay in this beautiful spot, the cottage had all I could ask for, in a lovely garden and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It is a little further out of town, I enjoyed the walk but some might prefer to travel by car. I was there for parkrun after all, which was only another 1km up the road in the Botanic gardens, so I was perfectly placed 🙂"
