"I try to stay here when traveling to Iowa. Staff are always friendly. The rooms are always clean and the bed comfortable. Nice breakfast offered, with a relaxing view. Cookies and popcorn are available in the lobby. They also have a tiny convenient store there as well."

"The house was large enough for our group of 14 with 2 people on couches. No pull out couch but the standard couches were comfortable. FYI the bunk beds in the loft have a 150 lb max weight restriction. The interior was beautiful with pine wood walls. Plenty of parking for 5 cars. About a 12 min. drive into Dubuque. Large yard with lots of birds, very green and lots of outdoor seating/space. Outdoor grill. Large well appointed kitchen, office and garden room with indoor water feature for relaxing and playing cards/games. Large basement with bar and foosball. Toys for little ones. Great house for family gatherings."

"Rooms larger than expected with sitting area"

"We brought two of our grandsons ( 9 & 11 ) to the cabin to stay and do a little fishing and playing on the Beach. I would consider it as Glamping. Glamorous camping lol. Grandma and grandpa got comfy beds to sleep in and the grandsons had a blast exploring, fishing Just hanging out at the beach and playing volleyball. It was a win-win for me. This is our 4th Visit to the cabin, but the first time we have ever brought anybody else with us. I thoroughly enjoy having my morning coffee by the fire in the yard and watching the hummingbirds play at the birdfeeders. The grandsons were up early and off to the boat dock for some fishing before breakfast. Most of the afternoons were spent at the beach and then back to the docks for more fishing in the late afternoon. This is my favorite out of all the vacation homes we have rented and will continue to come back and the coming years."

"The fourth floor room facing the hill behind the hotel was comfortable. The common area on that floor facing the river was very nice. It is convenient to downtown venues with everything a walkable distance from the hotel. "

"The motel is sparkling clean and situated on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. It is basic and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is right on the Great River Road and Guttenberg is quaint and worth an overnight visit. Great to get away from the larger cities and enjoy this delightful little burg. "

"Stay was great, we walked Effigy Mounds and Pikes Peak, went to a winery and the fish and cheese shop. Always have a great time in Prairie Du Chien. The best bars! Live music at the Tavern "
