“I will go back”

I really enjoyed staying there, the front desk was very helpful and the house keeping seemed like they enjoyed working at this location. I praise the mgt. teem for this because your people make you and they showed that. Thank you for making my stay uneventful and pleasant.

“Good Value”

This is a very nice, and almost new, hotel. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, and wireless internet.

“Simple get-away”

The staff was very friendly & we actually got upgraded right away without asking. The location in Pigeon Forge is pretty convenient to all of the action on the strip, but was tucked away so you couldn't hear all of the hustle and bustle. I would recommend this for a family or couple who wants a cheap get-away. :)

“Ok but not great, nice staff”

It's ok. Our room was on the second floor and this is the dog floor. The room wasn't that clean but when I asked for a room change the staff got it done ASAP. We were moved to a better and bigger room on the fourth. The staff was nice but the hotel is a bit run down.

“It is a Ok hotel for the price you pay.”

Expedia rooms are always the unwanted rooms in the hotel, I noticed that. When we got to the hotel, the floors had hair and crumbs all over. It was the first floor. I asked the front desk to change rooms, she kind of hesitated but did change us to the 3rd floor. The room was clean, but had a very funny smell. Since it is a pet friendly hotel, it could be from the pets. The good thing was the location, close to everything, just a short drive to Gatlinburg. The breakfast is also good, it had waffle machine, fresh fruits, yougurt, etc...

“Very disappointed.”

The hotel was horrible! We were very disappointed. Overall, it was very dirty almost everywhere. Especially our room smelled musty and moldy. All towels had stains. Shower curtain had mold. A/C stopped working at 6 or 7 pm but no repair person was available. And the outside temp. at night in Pigeon Forge was still at 80s. Toilet didn't flush, needed repair. The bottom bed mattress was exposed, i.e. no bed skirt, plus the corner plastic part were broken. We chose the hotel only because it was a pet friendly hotel. The hotel staff, however, were nice. However, the management should inspect rooms periodically, because I don't think the cleaning staff are doing their jobs very well. We initially had 4 nights stay but the conditions were so bad that we left one day early without penalties. At the time, both Expedia and the hotel were very helpful. I don't think we'll ever consider staying at La Quinta in the future.
