"My husband and I came to the area for his birthday getaway. We are from Maine and love the wooded area the cabin is in. It was perfect!! The cabin was very clean, bright and cozy! All the extras we needed were there… spices, coffee filters, even candy in the candy dish! Bed was comfy, and the back patio area was perfect for sipping morning coffee… we so enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we come back to the area. Also the owner was super quick to respond when we needed her...

"With 2 kids and a dog sometimes hotels don't cut it. This location was minutes from all the attractions and with 2 active kids I did not have to worry about telling them to calm down or be quiet. They were free to run around in the yard when we were at the cabin. Perfect that we were able to make breakfast, go see some sites and come back and relax with no one around us."

"We have been coming to the PF / Gatlinburg area for 15+ years. This is the first time we have not stayed in a cabin. The Bigfoot Bungalow cottage was the perfect place...we may never stay in a cabin again! It was super close to the parkway with NONE of the noise. The online pictures don't show the space of this place. It was very roomy. "To start it was a great check in process. All we had to do was grab our key from the door and go right in. Our host had already sent information including the Wi-Fi password to us so all we had to do was just move right in and enjoy our stay. They had a Roku in each room, nice hot tub, tennis rackets to go play tennis. All in all was an awesome place to be. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to vacation in pigeon Forge."

"Surprised my wife with a last minute trip. It turned out to be better than I could have imagined. We hardly left the cottage, everything we could have wanted to see or do was right there. We watched nature hiked the property, had bon fires, played pool and grilled most meals. It was our best vacation ever, it was so peaceful and private and relaxing. Also, we were very impressed with the cleanliness, my wife is a clean freak so she was extra happy that it was super clean. We highly recommend...

"We came to Gatlinburg for a wedding. We didn't want to stay in the heart of Gatlinburg because we knew it would be crazy because of Spring Break. While the house was a bit out of town it was completely fine! The house was great and we enjoyed our stay!"

"The stay was great! Perfect spot! The minor complaints i have seem to be the same as other past guest's, not sure why they havent been addressed??? The Shower door needs attention as well as the tub faucet. The kitchen isnt really stocked with everything you need, so be prepared, i wasnt cooking but needed a wine opener and noticed no dish rags or towels to even do dishes other than using the dishwasher. We loved Townsend and gratefull for our experiences. Oh, on the plus side the AC works...

"We came to the mountains to celebrate my girls graduating from prek and kindergarten and had a great time in this tiny cabin! My kiddos enjoyed going up and down the loft and picking up the rocks in the walk way outside looking for bugs. Perfect for a small family or couple getaway!"

One warning, this recent construction has very few rustic, “cabin” elements (despite the requisite black bear decor items), but it’s all super new & comfortable.
