“A lovely hotel”
Relaxing, quiet, clean.
“Great place!”
We just came back with my fiance from Corralejo, where we spent over a week staying at Bristol Playa. The hotel fulfilled our expectations, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the apartment was big and comfortable. Every day except from Thursdays and Sundays it was being cleaned and were getting new towels. We had amazing view from our balcony to the pool and the ocean. There were no bugs, no broken furniture, no extended noise. The pool was always clean, the water was slightly salty and not stinky at all. There were also many activities organized by the hotel, like karaoke or bbq. To sum up - it was a perfect time. Will definitely recommend everyone. Another plus is that the hotel is close to the main bus station, the supermarkets and the town center, but it is situated in a quiet place by the shore. We loved it.
“If you like a place a bit out of the main resort, this is the place for you.”
Friendly staff, clean rooms, towels and sheets changed three times a week. The lounge sofa and chair are in need of some new foam however, if you spend very little time in your apartment (like me) it is not such an inconvenience. Lovely pool although search for a decent sunbed, many are in need of some TLC and very uncomfortable. On site supermarket has the basics and reasonably priced, main supermarkets - Hyperdino and Spar a 10 min stroll away. Main resort and beaches are about 15 / 20 mins walk and lots of fish resturants offering traditional spanish food also. I would definately stay at these apartments again, if revisting Corralejo.

Nice hotel, very good value for money, good communal facilities. Rooms are clean and spacious. We came here to surf and there is good access to the hotel and surf spots, also lots of space on the rooms for your gear.

“Great pool!”
I really enjoyed my stay here. There was a good mix of nationalities (so definitely not an English ghetto) and the swimming pool was great. Carlos the lifeguard was very helpful and friendly, as were all the other members of staff I had dealings with. My apartment had a fine view of the crashing waves of the Atlantic and an entertaining pair of wind turbines. Some of the apartment fittings (for example the lampshades) could have been newer and cleaner, but at this price I certainly wasn't complaining. I am definitely going to return as soon as I can.
“Good value Hotel”
The hotel was perfectly situated, with about a 10min easy flat walk into town, where there was a good selection of restaurants, the local fish was usually the best food although you did not know the type of fish, it was always fresh and tasty, the better restaurants were near the port and not in the centre of town. The pools were very clean and the guard very attentive. It is about a 10 drive to the dunes where the best beaches were. but dont be surprised if someone appears in the nude.
“Another relaxing holiday at the Hesperia”
This was my second stay at the Hesperia, and again I had a very enjoyable and relaxing time. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the apartment had everything I needed, and the fantastic pool area was a great place to hang out - especially during the days of the Saharan heatwave, when it was just too hot to do anything else. For me, one great advantage of the Hesperia is the mixed clientele - this is not just an English or German "ghetto", but attracts holidaymakers from all over Europe. The hotel is located in the old part of Corralejo, well away from the plastic English pubs offering roast dinners and the like, and the adjacent streets are full of real Spanish people - with washing hanging out of windows, and old men sitting in their vests outside bars. Some of the Hesperia's apartments therefore overlook some rather down-at-heel residential areas - but if that bothers you, you can always ask for a view of the sea or of the swimming pool. For me the location adds to the charm and authenticity of the place, and I will definitely be coming again.
“Cheap and Cheerful holiday, basic accommodation.”
The appartment had ants when we first arrived, upon complaining I was sent away to go back the next day. I couldn't live with the problem bearing in mind they were in all the cupboards so I was given some spray to DIY it. Besides this is was ok, location was great, nice and near everything and we had a great sea view. No air con or fan so in the height of summer forget it. Pool was lovely and there was a handy supermarket on site. Overall good value for what we paid.
“Got what paid for”
Everything was OK but when I said I needed the internet connection to do some work each evening I was told that they only had wifi on most balconies and in communal areas. When I then said that I had chosen the hotel because it stated on the website that there was wifi adn I needed to work, the receptionist managed to book me into a room that had wifi in the bedroom so everything turned out OK.
