“Matt and Steph”
Loved. Best hotel in Corralejo
“Best 5* in the Med so far”
This is the second time we have stayed in this new hotel - we first stayed there a few weeks after it opened in 2005. We stayed in their most basic room, overlooking the pool which was spotlessly clean and well-stocked: quality toiletries in the double-sink bathroom, good shower over bath, toilet in a separate area of the bathroom behind a glass slide-door. The buffet food is generally good, but a little expensive, and there are 3 other restaurants on site - a Japanese, Italian and haute cuisine. All have good menus and excellent service. The wine seems fairly highly priced in the hotel on the whole. The pool area is clean, tidy, quiet, beautifully shaded by huge palms and right next to the garden restaurant which serves drinks, meals and snacks. There are waiters wandering around the pool much of the day, so you usually don't even have to leave your sunbed to top up your drinks. There is also a cocktail bar in the lobby, staffed by highly-trained cocktail bartenders. We usually just asked them to make "anything" and were never disappointed. The over-riding impression of this hotel is its impeccable attention to detail - it really feels like nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff there, including the hotel manager who is visible unlike in some hotels of the same standard. I would highly recommend this as a hotel for couples looking for complete relaxation. Oh, and they have a fantastic spa in the hotel too.
“Very impressed”
Great hotel. Truly a 5 star service. Rooms tidied frequently throughout day, staff were helpful and food exquisite.
“Will definitely pay another visit”
We went to Coarralejo back in 2003 and stayed at a very nice 4 star hotel but the Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahia Real is definitely the best. The facilties are fantastic and the serivce is out of this world. We really enjoyed the comfort of our Junior Suite room, the pool area, the fantastic spa facilities and the fabulous food. We will definitely pay a return visit.
“One of the best Hotels I've stayed in!”
From the moment we arrived this hotel provided an excellent customer experience! It was quiet, and provided an environment entirely suitable for relaxation. The spa was magnificent as was the buffet breakfast, akin to a Las Vegas style buffet, but with better food! Corralejo was a pleasant 20 min walk along the beach footpath, and the town itself was perfectly adequate, nothing special but pleasant enough wiith some good restaurents (and some not so good). Will certainly be going back, pay the extra for a rea view room, its worth it!
“Great place to relax”
This hotel is beautifully kempt and the service is impeccable. We found it a great place to relax and unwind, and particularly enjoyed the spa and the bar with live music every night.
“A classy hotel in Fuerteventura”
Lovely hotel with excellent buffet breakfast - most important as my wife and I are both vegetarian. Didn't sample any other food in the hotel, as we prefer to eat out in local restaurants, although people we spoke to said the food was good. Given glass of Cava on arrival, and a small present was left in the room, both on arrival and again on departure. We hired a car for the duration of the stay, and the parking in the underground car park was free for residents. Having said that, there would have been no problem parking on the road outside, although this may be an issue in high season. The only downside for some people (not us) was that it was a 25 minute walk by road into Corralejo. Unfortunately, the promenade is only paved in the town area, and doesn't extend as far as the hotel, so if you wish to take this route into town, you are walking along the sandy beach for a good portion of the way. All things considered, this was an excellent hotel, and we'd definitely stay there again.
“Best place in Corrallejo!”
Bed was a bit firm, but they offer a variety of pillows on request. Generally, a very pleasant situation (ask for a sea view) and superb choices of food and restaurants. The spa is open to over 16s and is very good.
“Great hotel and location”
The staff are really wonderful, they made our stay special. The room was spotless and I loved being right on the beach. The pool and public areas are beautifully kept and comfortable whether you want sun or shade. The only negative was the food which was 'ok'. We had a really good lunch in the beach club and I wish they would keep it open at night as the beach and pool views are great as well as the food. Really enjoyed our stay and would go back in spite of the so-so food.
“5* beauty yet question 5* International service?”
Supurb hotel, Staff could smile more with being more attentive to tables and friendlier, Large buisness functions held during residence caused distruption of the pleasure of tranquility to residence and the peace of the sound of the wonderful birds located in the area. However, i chose to stay at this hotel as it promotes peace, tranquility and beauty- eg its spa, flowers and birds are exceptional but large gatherings of buisness men heckelling, shouting and splashing around the pool ruined the entire effect that let the hotel down keep residence and private functions far apart. 5 star hotel, but not 5 star service- Students addressing clients tables have no idea how to attend to clients in a 5 star manner other than to dressing the tables. However the management team in reception were fabulous such as Hos'e (in reception) whom was very caring, attentive, articulate and prompt, he stands to be the star example of 5 star service as one expects to find in any 5 star hotel around the world. Buffet service- Great value for money, although evening deserts could do with individual flavours, looked fabulous mostly tasting the same therefore ok for those no any wiser to Michlin 5 star meals. More variety in fish/ meat choice over 10 days would be nicer than repetative option. Cava breakfast cute idea, although best to be offered Cava with evening buffet, Cava and canope would have worked better - Grill Chefs could smile more as not to make one feel a burden. question the 5* star
