This hotel features 570 air conditioned, soundproofed guestrooms, including 20 suites, all of which include desks, high-speed Internet access (surcharge), and satellite television with pay movie channels. At 570 square meters, Open Sky is the only fitness and spa center with a swimming pool at Frankfurt Airport. From the ninth floor, guests can view the airport or the vast city forest while using modern cardio and fitness equipment. The spa features a 15 meter heated jet stream pool system, Finnish sauna (90°C), Saunarium (60°C), solarium, light therapy, and steam bath. Trained physiotherapists provide individual massage. Facials, body treatments, body scrubs, and beauty treatments are available. Manicures and pedicures are also available.

“Excellent accommodation”
Excellent hotel and very convenient to the airport.
“Convenient to airport - shuttle every 15 minutes from terminals to hotel”
Only compliant is that buffet breakfast is too expensive at 28 euros per person - we skipped it and ate at the airport. we were too tired to wait 15 min to take the shuttle so we took a cab from airport - it was only 10 euros to hotel
“Perfect if travelling by car”
Selected this hotel because of parking facilities and a business appointment outside the city center. Very close to the airport but no noise even with the window open. Everything including rooms is spacious and the breakfast buffet overwhelming. Courteous staff. Can recommend this hotel

Great hotel for overnight stay. Shuttle leaves every 15 min., takes 5 min. to airport. Georgeous pool and fitness area. Rooms very spacious,modern bath rooms. My kids and I enjoyed it very much!

“Extremely convenient airport hotel”
5 mins from airport via free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes. More expensive than some of the other hotels in the area but worth the convenience. Good food both at the hotel bar and adjacent restaurant. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Highly recommended for overnight stay but if more days might consider one of the cheaper outlying hotels. Great jogging trail across the street and nice pool in the hotel.

Excellent shuttle service from & to the airport !! Had a fine dinner at the hotel restaraunt--- rather expensive.. Great night's sleep!!!
“Excellent for an airport hotel”
This hotel is 5 minutes by shuttle from the airport, and the shuttle runs every 15 minutes. There are three restaurants on site, which is good, because there is nothing else within walking distance of the hotel but a gas station market and another hotel. We experienced an excellent buffet for dinner in one of them our first night. The food in the hotel is a little pricey, as one would expect from an airport hotel. The expedia listing showed our room as having a king bed and the room for our children having two double beds. On check-in, however, the childrens' room had two twin beds (which is fine and a third rollaway was quickly added at our request to accomodate our third child) and our room had a double bed and smelled of cigarette smoke (we booked non-smoking). Most big airport hotels I've stayed in would have been reluctant to do anything about such situation. The staff at the Steigenberger, however, was very sympathetic, and within a few minutes our room was upgraded to a very nice executive suite with a king bed. The staff was generally very helpful, spoke English well, and was quite friendly. The hotel is huge but well built and quiet. This is a good choice for staying near the airport, as evidenced by the numerous flight crews we saw checking in.
“Great airport hotel”
We stayed overnight to catch an early morning return flight to the US, and it was pretty much ideal for that purpose. The hotel really caters mostly to business clients but is fine others too. The two downsides were that Internet access and breakfast were very expensive. And being at the airport doesn't leave many close by dining options. But we'd go back again.
“Convenient to Franfurt Airport”
We stayed in this hotel on two occasions over a four week period. In both cases the reason was the same. Convenience to Frankfurt Airport. In this regard the hotel is perfect, and to be honest this matches their own stated performance objective. There is a free shuttle bus that runs between the airport and the hotel at 15 minute intervals. The journey takes about five minutes. We picked up a hire car at the airport, and when it came time to return it at the end of our trip we were easily able to drop our bags at the hotel and then refuel the car at the nearby petrol station before driving the five minutes to the airport hire car depot. Expect no views from the rooms, there are none, but they are comfortable and quiet. For a late arrival and early departure it does the job well.
