“"Affordable quality for Europe"”
Only 3 miles from Frankfurt (main) airport & only 8 years old. I like to see the ruins; not stay in them!!
“convenient, relatively cheap but beware of add-ons and shuttle service”
Served purpose of being close to airport before flight home. Beware that shuttle from airport was closed from 14-16:50 in the afternoon when driver was on break. Expedia price was cheap but add-ons include 5 euro apiece for transport to airport. Breakfast was additional at 7euro apiece but worth the price.
“Good Value for the Money”
The room was smaller than expected but very clean and comfortable. The area is a little remote with no convenience stores, restaurants or internet cafes that I could find. It seems to be more of a business/convention centre area. There is a bus stop at the door and it did not take long to find our way to the "tourist" sites of Frankfurt. The front desk staff was courteous and friendly but could not offer much information regarding transit. Taxi fare from the airport to the hotel was reasonable. I would use this hotel again.
“Clean but difficult to get to”
This hotel is ok cheap and clean. One word of warning concerns its location. Though only one train stop from the main station Neideraad station is a good mile from the hotel and busses only run every half hour up till 9 o clock and not at all at weekends. Unless your taking the car or want to spend a fortune on taxis I would give it a miss.
“OK value”
Hotel has OK value comparing to the neighboring ones. Even though our personal experience didn't go well. I booked this hotel only because it's close to the airport and we needed shuttle in the morning. Apparently morning shuttle, even though it's not free, doesn't start as early as our flight was, so we had to take a cab. As far as shuttle from the airport - we froze to death waiting for 25 minutes for it on the street. Free wi-fi works only in the lobby and doesn't go even to the second floor. So again, the hotel is ok, but make be prepared for small things like the ones mentioned above.
“basic, but good price”
its exactly as stated, you get what you pay for, no complaints!
“far away from downtown”
very nice hotel if you are on the budget . dinner is out of vending machine and if you dont learn to ride the bus and train , you will be using the taxi which is very expensive compare to USA taxis. hotel prices can triple if there is a event in town. hotel is far from downtown but very nice and cheap.
