“Clean, quiet , efficient - overall great deal!”

Quick and easy check-in. Very friendly front desk staff that spoke perfect English and confirmed my previously requested wifi room. (Request a wifi-equiped room when you reserve the room via Expedia. Wifi is not free, but is equivalent to the price charged by US business hotels. Wifi signal was excellent. Room was very clean and quiet with a built-in side desk area along one wall, comfortable pillows and bed. Very clean bathroom with combo body wash/shampoo and hair dryer provided. Note that the shuttle comes to the airport every 40 minutes and then it takes 15 minutes or so to reach Ibis. There's a chart of pick-up times near the airport's shuttle area, although it was difficult to decipher since it included multiple hotels and pick-up points. Best to ask the various shuttle drivers and they'll point out the next time for the Ibis shuttle. Be sure to reserve the shuttle at Ibis for the next day's return to the airport when you check in to the hotel. Shuttle is FREE for both going/coming from the airport. (This is not the case in other hotels near the airport.) Misc: Wake-call worked fine. There is a small plaza with a grocery store across the street if needed. Seemed like a safe, quiet, if somewhat industrial, neighborhood. Overall a great deal, especially because I paid half the posted rate (outside the hotel) for my room by using Expedia!

“convenient for early flight”

I usually don't stay in chain hotels like this but I wanted something convenient for an early flight. The hotel had a free shuttle and it left promptly so I was satisfied with my stay. the hotel was clean and comfortable and the bar served light food when the restaurant wasn't open. Breakfast was a bit expensive but was convenient. I'd stay again if I had an early flight out. Also I called ahead and was able to check in extra early at 1pm.

“Extremely convenient and affordable for Frankfurt International Airport”

The hotel is clean, modern, and tasteful, with very courteous staff and with an excellent in-house restaurant. The rooms have comfortable beds, air conditioning and modern private shower bathrooms. The only negative feature is that the free 20-minute transport to and from the airport can only seat 8 people and we had to wait about a half hour both coming and going because the van was full with people who were waiting before we got there. Do not expect to find a picturesque neighborhood --- the hotel is in an industrial park. But it is very quiet.

“Close to airport, low priced, clean hotel”

I have stayed at this hotel twice so far and it is typical of the Ibis chain. The hotel is in good condition, clean and has the normal amenities you would expect for a low priced hotel. There is a free shuttle bus you can catch outside of Terminal A that will take you to the hotel every 30 minutes. The hotel offers "free" internet service if you only want to check email on the hotel provided computer in the lobby, otherwise you will need to pay for Wifi to use in the lobby, or in select rooms in the hotel. If you want Wifi in your room, tell the desk clerk before they give you a room, as not all rooms have this available, also the cost for a full days use can be somewhat expensive, so keep this in mind. There is a small strip mall adjacent to the hotel, with a grocery store (Aldi) and some other shops, but there are no restaurants close to the hotel, as the hotel is located in a commercial district adjacent to the airport. There is a hotel restaurant and the food selection is limited, but the food is not bad and the prices are moderate. The hotel staff also speak multiple languages and can assist you if needed during your stay.

“Great value for the money”

The hotel staff were very courteous, the hotel was clean and comfortable and it was close to Frankfurt Airport which was very important to us as we had an early flight out the following day. We prefer to stay in a hotel close to airports before flying as it gives us time to relax and take stock of our luggage. The rates were very reasonable, the food was excellent and basically, it met our needs completely.

“Convenient hotel for overnight layover”

This hotel is conveniently located near the airport, in a small nearby town. It also has a complementary shuttle running hourly to the airport and a train station at a walking distance (about 15 minutes). Surrounding area is safe but not too interesting. The town is small with few restaurants. This may be also an economical option for those sightseeing Frankfurt. Food in the hotel restaurant is pretty good. Hotel offer complementary breakfast. I could not sue this option due to an early flight.

“The Motel 6 of Frakfurt”

The positive points are that the Ibis has a shuttle from the Frankfurt airport (but it only picks up at one location). If you have even stayed at a Motel 6 in the US, then you know what you are getting. It is a no-frills kind of place. Except they do have a small lobby bar and a restaurant. Check-in was easy. Rooms are clean, but very simple. It was not a good value at the rate charged.
