Slightly out of the way but excellent value

“very nice for the price”

I found this hotel very nice, indeed. The only drawback was that they have no shuttle to the airport (yet?), so the taxi one way cost me more than half as much as the night at the hotel. And unfortunately, I had to leave too early and such missed a supposedly very good breakfast....

“large room”

Great room with 2 large beds and fridge in the room. Basic, but very clean and a very large room. Breakfast was great and included in the price. In a neighborhood with a few small eateries, the bakery around hte corner is fabulous, and close to the airport, but we heard no airplane noise. We took the bus within a block of the hotel back to the airport. We also used the bus and transit which took 20 minutes from downtown Frankfurt.

“I did good”

I can’t say enough good things about this place I choose it because it was reasonable, and for its access to easy public bus transport for less than 6 Euros R/T, which saved me more than 45 Euros (about 60 USD) in cab fare. And after reading the comments of visitors that had stayed in other hotels in the area which did offer shuttle service, it just sounded as if it was more trouble than it was worth, and so I decided to brave their public transportation, which was a breeze. Once there, I found myself in a clean and tastefully decorated lobby (Turkish inspired decor). And I was kindly greeted, and given a bottle of water at the front desk after mentioning that I was dehydrated (nice touch), while also finding more complimentary water on the room as well. Room was nicely remodeled, quiet, and super clean. Breakfast buffet was great with strong good coffee, served in a very comfortable and spotless dining room. But here was the best part, when checking out on the morning of Sept. 14, the concierge took it upon himself to walk me and my bags back to the bus stop (can’t remember his name, but you know who you are, Thank You), and just in case anybody is doubting his intentions, other than hot flashes, I’m not hot anymore :)… they were just all very nice people. What a great way to start what was to be a long day of travel, the people working at Hotel Global caused me want to pay the kindness forward all day long….. Keep smiling, and the world tends to smile back at you.

my flight was late, mid night. so no bus. I had to take taxi for 27Euro. wi-fi internet at room was very poor.

Close to the Airport, modern style, clean and reasonably priced: Great value for your money!!!!

“Good hotel to just sleep one night”

Nice and clean. Staffs are very friendly. Only the location is not that great, in a remote area.

“Hotel Global stay on19 Feb 2012”

The hotel was very comfortable and accommodating and very convenient because it was so close to the airport. It was also very modern and clean and the staff was very pleasant. There were just a couple negatives. There was only one sheet on the bed along with a comforter. There was not a second sheet or a blanket in between which was a little uncomfortable. There was also a very nice breakfast with several options, but the temperature of the food was a bit cold.

“Modern Inside”

Hard to find (behind another hotel) at night. Limited parking spots. From outside looked dumpy, but inside room is very modern and elegant. Only lacking thing is no AC and when warm just a bit uncomfortable. Area does not yhave much going for it, with limited eating establishments. About 15 minute drive to Terminals at FRA.
