“Frankfurt Trip”
It's a small hotel set off a bit from the main part of Frankfurt, but a 20 minute walk will have you at Hauptbanhof Train Station. There's a metro not too far off as well. There are no elevators, staircases are narrow, and parking is difficult. However, the service and room were superb. Their breakfast selection was outstanding and reasonably priced.
“DEFINITELY!!!!!! would recomend!!!!!!!!!!”
My wife and I stayed at the Villa Diana for over a week and loved it. The Hotel is very quaint inside and out. All of the staff were extreamly kind and helpful. The breakfast that is included was very good each morning just a little different. We stayed in the room at the very top (no lift) so that got to be a real work out each day but it just added to the whole experince. We chose this hotel beacuse of the no smoking policy and free wireless internet. Next time we will chose it because of the great experince we had.
“Great Value in Frankfurt's Westend”
I was extremely pleased with my week-long stay at Hotel Villa Diana. I stayed in a single and found it to be just the right amount of space for a single traveler. The room was spotless and the staff extremely friendly, helpful and competent (Also, most of the front desk staff speak nearly-fluent English). I also found the complimentary breakfast (every morning from 7-10) to have a generous selection. Despite being in the typically expensive 'Westend' area of Frankfurt, I found the rates to be extremely reasonable given the great service and amenities available there. This is a great choice for anyone needing to stay in the Westend area of Frankfurt.
“Clean, quiet and friendly”
For a budget hotel, this was spot on - clean, quiet and friendly. The staff were lovely when I arrived, and I got a good night's sleep. It's not the Four Seasons, but for anyone on the budget, this is a little gem hidden away in Frankfurt's Westend area near the financial district and Palengarten. Highly recommended (by someone who generally stays in business hotels)
“Quaint hotel to experience old-world Frankfurt”
If you're looking for an affordable, quaint hotel to experience life in old-world Frankfurt style, Villa Diana is the place for you. The hotel has the feel of a really old apartment building turned hotel. The rooms are small but have most things travelers expect of a hotel room in the country side. The day staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and they'll help you find what you're looking for in no time at all. However, if you're used to staying at 5-star international hotel chains, you'll either love the experience or hate it. There's no room service, no parking unless you can find it on the street, no big hotel lobby, and no bar. They do, however, have a complimentary "Continental" breakfast every morning with a great selection of pastries, hard boiled eggs, cold cuts, and coffee. The location is wonderfully tucked into a side street in Frankfurt's Westend, right in the heart of normal civilian life. However, if you're looking for nightlife or shopping malls, you'll need to get to Frankfurt Main (downtown) via taxi, subway/metro, or a long walk (not advised when it's snowing).
“sleep well”
great location in quiet neighbourhood - you can walk everywhere everything you need is close by including grocery store- very good value for the price paid - highly recommend if you are traveler on a budget
“great with little improvements”
Since the voucher did not arrive at the Hotel, I was not expected and there was no record to be found of my reservation. This made arrivng unpleasant. The receptionist consequently was unfriendly at first (later changed) which did not give a good first impression. The rooms for single occupancy are small but sufficient, the showers aren't. The are really small. I am slender so it worked but for bigger clients it might not. Noise from neighboring rooms carries over. Easy improvements: It would be nice to have a box of Kleenex and a washcloth added to the amenities. Very clean, good location, great breakfast buffet. Lots of restaurants around, walking distance to the Frankfurt fair grounds.
“Convenient for business trips / city visits”
Very conveniently placed close to the financial district, quiet and friendly neighborhood, walking distance to the city center and train station. The room/bathroom war clean, the stuff was very friendly. To sleep it's better to use earplugs since the doors/walls are rather thin. WiFi included - better signal in the rooms near the reception - it's ok for checking mails.
“OK Place for a night”
We had two rooms. The hotel is in a great neighborhood if its a quick stay. For us it was a one night prior to flying out. The beds are small but OK. The showers were all bad. No A/C and no elevator to the 4th floor. They claim the best breakfast in Frankfurt? Not so sure about that one. Its a nice place for the money.
“Great location”
The Location of this hotel is great set on a quiet road 2 blocks from the main road! Fantastic for the Messe. Rooms are very small but everything I needed was there including a really good breakfast. Walking distance to the city centre, plenty of good restaurants, the central train station and the Messe.
