"I gave it a one star rating only because whenever I checked in I got the key to a room someone was already in. It was 2 am and as a girl traveling alone, this was a very scary experience for me. I also want to follow that bad experience with a good experience, as the staff at the hotel were quick to refund me and go check the room they gave me, as they did not know there was someone already checked in there. I think it was a miscommunication problem between shift change - still shouldn't have happened; however, the staff were very kind when I said I wanted to leave. It could have gone a lot different, and thankfully I left okay. Had something bad happened since I basically broke into someone's hotel room, it would be a different story. I think it was an eye opener to the hotel to double check before booking rooms and an eye opener for me to not go into a room if it has a "do not disturb" sign on it - even though I thought maybe it was just left by the cleaners by mistake. I in fact disturbed another guest (thankfully he slept right through it). Would not stay again, but am, again, thankful for the staff's proactive resolution."

"overall the best hotel we had stayed in by far. rooms are clean. lobby is clean. even the elevator is clean. staff were attentive and helpful. cleaning staff were on point with cleanliness. breakfast were served on time and replenished as quickly as possible. coffee is always available. impressive."

"Upon our arrival the room was hot and the thermostat said to replace batteries. Called the front desk and someone immediately came up, but obviously didn’t replace them with new batteries because they were dead again the next morning so we just went and bought our own. Bathroom door barely shut and vent fan did not work. They also placed 3 different holds on my card and could not give me an explanation as to why my hold was in 3 different charges and was double the amount that other guests we knew were charged."
