“Excellent everything”
Good location, excellent service, clean and new appearance, excellent everything...
“Great suite hotel”
I loved this hotel. I stayed in a King suite with a Jaccuzi bath, it was heaven. The breakfasts were included and they were great, as well as dinner Mon-Thurs. There was a free shuttle to the NY Ferry and anywhere locally and it was very well done. The staff was friendly. Even with the hotel pretty full, I felt well taken-care of and that there was enough to go around for everyone.
“Great Place”
The hotel was great. It's in a good location with excellent shopping restaurants and even a nearby jogging path along the Hudson. We really enjoyed staying there. The only suggestions I could make was I didn't like the comforters. They had the padded part tied to the decorative part which twisted up during sleep. We untied them.
“Excellent place to Stay close to the Big Apple”
Overall, ths is a great hotel to stay close to NYC and away from the noise. The service was excellent and the rooms are perfectly equipped.
“What a Fantastic Surprise!!”
You cannot go wrong with this hotel! Great location! Great view and close to the Hudson River. Very close to great restaurants. The staff was phenominal! Always very friendly and made sure my stay was great. My suite was superb. I would go back in a heartbeat!! Does this sound made-up? It's not. It's real!! Best kept secret in the New York area!
“Homewood Suites at Edgewater, NJ”
The hotel and staff were excellent. I would like to thank the night manager who was incredibly patient, courteous and professional with the all of the late night revelers returning from the event we attended that night. She went way beyond the "call of duty" to accommodate everyone. The location was superb, the breakfast fresh and varied. The only thing I would recommend is a bigger sign to make the hotel easier to spot from the road! Thanks for a great stay!
“Excellent hotel; shame no kettle”
This hotel is excellent. That goes for the room, the service, the food - everything. The only thing that spoiled it was the lack of a kettle with which to boil water. The suite was provided with a kitchen with everything you'd need, including tea bags, but the only way to boil water for a cup of tea was by using a saucepan or the microwave, both unsatisfactory! On enquiring at the front desk, their solution was to use the filter coffee jug and hotplate but that would not have boiled water in under an hour, if then. That was not a helpful reply. "Spoiling the ship for a ha'peth of tar!", but such a small criticism indicates how good the rest of it was.
“Nice Retreat from NY”
Awesome hotel!!!! Just wish they had a jacuzzi....
“Best choice especially for long-stay”
Excellent staff support and cares. The location is excellent: easy access to NYC and many restaurants for breakfast and dinner.
