"The front desk lady took 30 minutes to check me in. She swiped my card for the wrong amount $100 more . This wasnt the deposit. She ran the deposit on a different card. She kept trying my card until my bank locked it. Each time she ran my card , it was for a different amount. It was a horrible experience. She didn't apologize and told me the Mgr would have to fix it and hel be in at 4 a.m. if I want to talk to him. Like WHAT???? That was 3 days ago and its still not fixed. The hotel itself was very clean, safe and nice. But that experience alone ruined my trip."

"My mom and I had a wonderful experience at The Lodge. It was our first time staying there and were very pleased. We got to check in a few hours early which was super nice and the young man and young lady at the front desk were great! Bryan, from New Zealand, helped us with our bags to it room and was just a delightful guy. He smiled the whole time. The guy monitoring the pool area was great and very nice. We chatted on and off through the day. Everyone seemed to really like the job there which is refreshing. I liked that there were restaurants on property so you didn’t have to leave if you didn’t want too. I would say the only downside is you have to pay to park. Overall, an excellent experience and we will definitely be back!"
