Super clean. Extremely noisy! Once the neighbors checked in next to us, we felt like we were in the same room. We could hear their TV and conversation as if sitting next to us. At 11pm we finally had to knock on the wall and ask them to quiet down. Very tiny shower and dark room but we were only staying overnight on our way through town so was worth the discomfort. We got what we paid for.

Very comfortable beds, nice shower. Had hand soap and lotion pump at sink, as well as body wash, shampoo and conditioner pumps in the shower. Made it very handy.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Only reason I have 4 stars on condition was because of an issue with one of the floor planks. Otherwise the room was in great shape and nicely equipped. 4/5 stars on location mainly because there wasn’t much around, but it worked out great because it was close to the dunes. We would stay here again.

Stayed here after the Sea Lion Caves and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and well kept as well! Great place for families or solo trips as well!

I like this property for the convenience of proximity to Florence old town. The rooms can be noisy if you have neighbors - walls thin? I have stayed here twice. 1st stay noisy neighbors only because of thin walls. 2nd stay heater in bathroom did not work. Not sure I will stay here again - especially since they charge $25 for pet fee.

There was no silverware or any supplies in the cabin. Said that could sleep 4 but there were not 4 outside chairs. When asked staff about chairs they said “go ask your neighbor”.

first thing did not know about the 50.00 pet fee the room only cost 59.00 per day that being said there was no hot water in room let the water run 20 minutes for luke warm water people next room left their dog in the room at night dog bark for over 3 hours try to call manager 5 times no answer .

Great little motel with great staff.
The staff is amazing and they have done some great updates since our last stay here. Yes, it's rustic and if you are the 5 star fancy hotel type, this place isn't for you. This is a place that is great for families and couples who appreciate this simple way of life. Easy location for fun up and down the Oregon coast. We will be back again.

Great retreat
We loved this place! it was rainy and gloomy out but warm and comfortable inside. The knotty pine walls, fireplace, comfortable recliner and bed, as well as the table and chairs by the window made our stay really pleasant. The bathroom was small but worked for these two tall and large guests! it is, after all, what we consider a boutique motel....40ish! We spent a lot of time in town but the motel is only a mile south of Florence. The owners were great to work with and we will now be regulars.

This was exactly what I needed, a convenient stop on my way that was easy to find and safe feeling. I didn’t get to see the area around unfortunately. Next time. Only small complaint is how thin the walls were and that the room was 59F when I got there at 9 pm.

Beautiful surroundings - set back off highway and surrounded by greenery. My only complaint is the walls are thin. They do supply the foam earplugs. Overall better than many of the lodgings in Florence. Just bring some good quality ear plugs.

The room smelled like dirty old men. If we hadn't been totally exhausted we would not have stayed. It was straight out of the movie Psycho.
