“Our lovely Fiji stay”

Very friendly staff they can't help you enough, very polite, always want to do something for you. The resort itself is clean and pleasant in and around the grounds, the staff are always walking around cleaning and pruning or sweeping the paths. No aircon that i saw but the ceiling fans did the job nicely for us, the rooms are nice with tiles throughout, great water pressure in the shower, the pool was cleaned everyday and topped up with water due to the kids jumping into it. The beach nearby compared to the area we live in was a let down but i was told they are better in other parts of the island or out on the other islands. The locals in Nadi are extreamly lovely and very friendly, they all want to show you their wares and do a great deal, most offer discounts so they are flexible, I don't haggle but im sure if you tried you would have some great bargains.

“pleasant budget hotel near Nadi airport”

Wailoaloa Beach Resort is an easy 15-minute drive from Nadi Airport and offers very affordable accommodations. The room was spacious, the hotel staff very friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers free breakfast and free 24-hr wi-fi in the patio beside the pool. I did not use the pool but it appears to be clean and well-maintained. The main drawback of the hotel is that it is gets a lot of noise from approaching or departing airplanes, which sound like they are flying directly over the hotel.

is a nice one for a quick stay. very clean pool, clean rooms, a bit expansive food at the bar. Breakfast ok. they can organise tours very well with a great deals for islands. They have a fantastic crew, always pront to help and serve you, and, always with a huge smile. Very nice for arrive and/or leaving Nadi. But, as we didnt go much around other beaches in Nadi, i would say dont stay there more than 1 day(not for the hotel but is nothing to do around). The guy that do pick up airport service and tours responsible is fantastic always very helpful. FIJI IS A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE DO NOT MISS THIS IN LIFE!!!!!!Thanks expedia for one more wonderful deal!!!!!!!

The hotel was fairly spartan but it was clean neat and the staff were friendly. for the price it was good value.

“Suitable for people on a budget”

The rooms are very basic, but comfortable. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. The Fijians are a lovely friendly race of people who are always smiling and welcoming. People just have to remember that they are on "Fiji time" when they are there and that it is not the same as it is at home. Don't expect everything to be perfect.

This hotel was good enough. We only had an overnight in Nadi after spending a week on Koro Island. We were looking for something cheap (which I should mention also that the rate we were quoted on expedia was NOT the rate we were given - the woman at the front desk insisted that Expedia made a mistake and that they are continuously trying to fix this problem). My husband and I were travelling with our four children and didn't want to spend a lot. The rooms are fine. Not luxury but fine for an overnight. We had to ask twice for an extra bed in the room because our room type was switched. We were provided only two towels for the six of us and the sign in the room said we would be charged for any extra. After a week on Koro and a 4 hour drive from Suva we were too tired to ask for anything else so just dealt with it. The pool doesn't open until 11 am which was hard with four children wanting to swim immediately after they woke up. One thing I should mention is that one of the beds in the room was so old and saggy my 10 year old son kept laughing and saying it was a bed from one of the Griswold movies. The other beds were still covered in plastic (under the sheets) so made a crinkling noise all night anytime anyone moved. It was an experience :) I wouldn't spend an extended amount of time there but for us it was what we needed.

“Basic but clean”

The room we were in was very basic - beds, a dresser, small tv and nothing else really. Breakfast, while included in the tariff, was limited in menu choices (cornflakes and weetbix one day, cornflakes and porrige the next, corn flakes and eggs, then just eggs!). Fine to stay there when you are planning to be out and about for the day and just looking for somewhere to put your head. Pool was clean - kids enjoyed it. Not quite the resort it once was maybe.

“About Wailoaloa resort...”

This is cheap nice and quiet. with free internet and swimming pool. On the downside It's a little far from everything and organisation is bad. For example we had to wait 80 minutes for a meal for 6 people, but the food was excellent.
