“Perfect for families traveling with young children”
The Sheraton is a great resort for families. There are eight resorts at Denaru Island and we walked past all of them. We traveled with two babies (4 & 22 months) and for us the Sheraton was the best: best children´s pool, kid´s club, play ground and best/cleanest beach. Also, children eat for free in all the restaurants. If you are traveling without children, you may want to consider another hotel as this will be full of kids (from the Sheraton + the other hotels)
“Wwill go back in a heart beat”
Resort was beautiful and helped made the holiday so much more relaxing. Loved the pools, location, convenience of shuttle bus and the freiendly and helpful staff. Fantastic.
“Great for a relaxed break”
Breakfast included is a must and it is really enjoyable. All resort facilities are top class and restaurants cater for everyone. Staff are friendly and there are convenience stores throughout the resort, across the villa's and westin as well. great that you can use the facilities in all three places. Only thing that's missing is the golden sand.
“Wonderful stay!!”
couldnt of been any more happy with the hotel!.. all staff were so friendly and helpful and cant wait to go back!
“"Wish They would have fixed the problems"”
This hotel on the outside looked like it had it all. On the inside, well....that was another subject. The room looked great when we checked in, once we got settled and turned on the A/C that is when the problems started. We complained or should say asked for them to change out the air filter to see if that would reduce the "air tunnel" effect we had going on in our room, after the first day there was no change, so we turned off the A/C and tried to "rough it" with just the fan on, RUT ROW! as long as we had it on HIGH everything was fine, turn it down and things changed drastically, all of a sudden the room was filled with a RUT, RUT,RUT,RUT....sound, again we asked that they fix it.....the third day we put up with the way the room was. For what we paid and the lack of response we got, didn’t have much of a choice, and was a BIG down fall of our vacation since this was the last four day of our visit. I might add on a positive note that the food in the restaurants was fantastic, and the hotel staff was probably the friendliest I have ever met. Had a great vacation, BUT......really wish someone would have fixed the problems we had with our room. After 4 days of asking, you can see that maybe I should have been a little more direct. Overall, great place to visit, just watch out for the roads...... if you drive whach out.........lots of pot holes!
“rooms are very comfortable, however, air conditioning is very loud”
Food in Fiji, Denaru specifically has improved enornously, Flying Fish at the Sheraton, Cross at the Radison, just fabulous. Weather was wonderful and in all a relaxing experience.
“Welcome to Fiji”
Hotel was wonderful. Staff the friendliest I have ever encountered (typical of Fijians in general). Traveled with younger children and elderly mother and staff were unbelievable sweet and helpful with each.
“Lovely resort”
THE FOOD IS WAY TOO EXPENSIVE, THINK WHAT YOU THINK EXPENSIVE IS AND TRIPLE IT.
“Nice Stopover”
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The pools and beach were meticulously maintained. The hotel was very child friendly as well. We only stayed for 3 nights but we really enjoyed our stay. The resort had a very Western feel and you did not get much interaction with the "true Fiji" experience. We used this hotel as a stopover and it was perfect for that. It was comfortable and a great place to get adjusted to the new time zone. We checked out the other hotels on Denarau and I would say the Sheraton is definitely one of the best, especially the pool area. The food was a bit overpriced and I was not impressed with the seafood buffet. The little Cafe inside the lobby had delicious doughnuts. The Cafe just outside of the gate had more reasonably priced sandwiches & drinks. The gym, located at the Westin, was very nice! The Port is not too far of a walk, about a mile. The Bula bus is $6 a person, which is way too much money for how short the ride is. In the Port there is a grocery stores and a variety of restaurants as well.
“LOVED IT”
Helpful friendly staff. Great pools, restaurants. Would definately go back!
