“Very good for Fiji standards”
GWV was a very pleasant stay, the restaurant was innexpensive & good quality, the pool was great, the rooms where clean a bit on the small side but otherwise comfortable. The only gripe I have is that they call the rooms studios which is very misleading because they are not, there is no kitchenet or lounge.
“Older style rooms but clean and gardens kept well but need own transport to see the sites”
I found the place really clean and the people really nice. The gardens and pool area were kept very well and the food serviced up was cooked well and cost effective not a great deal of variety though. Your not close to anything so you will need a car unless you intend on just sitting back and having a dip in the pool. Cab rides are very expensive to get to town. I would certainly stay there again there is a small playground for kids and a slide into the pool but didn't see any children there during my stay. Give this placde a go if you are after a cost effective place with privacy and don't mind sitting back or hiring a car.
“Manager is Brilliant- :D”
Booked this hotel off Expedia, the room was Good, but it wasnt cleaned in 4 days!!! until we went and complanined to the receptionist, but the manager there is Brilliant he upgraded us to a villa and the stay was so much better. swimming pool = AMAZING !! nice setting defo would go back there again if that manager is around, made us feel like we were at home. not too far from the airport close to town, enjoyed it...
“Basic room, fine for stop over”
Clean room and everything included in the room worked. Hotel is ideal for a stop over but a little remote for extended stay.
“Poor condition”
Not clean room with ants and Cockroaches. Kitchen appliances were in bad condition, kettle didn't work or stove could not been lighted. 5 people stayed in the place we can only got 3 towels then have to call them for the service and did not have enough dishes for 5 people.
