Riad très accueillant et très bien situé

nous sommes partis en famille et tout s'est très bien passé, un temps magnifique, une ville très dépaysante et un petit riad où il faisait bon se reposer soit sur la terrasse soit au rez de chassée dans un petit salon . Les alentours d'Essaouira comme iftane ou le cap sim sont de très belle ballade; sans oublier la campagne qui était verdoyante.

Comme des princes...

Escapade à Essaouira de deux jours et nous avons été comblés par notre séjour au Riad Zelaka. Gwen nous a accueillis de manière très sympathique autour d'un thé et nous a expliqué ce qui est à voir, où boire un verre au soleil couchant etc...plan à l'appui. Notre chambre, comme toutes les autres, est décorée avec goût et d' une propreté impeccable. En plus un petit chauffage d' appoint est disponible si les soirées sont fraîches.Très belle salle de bain. Excellent wifi. Nous avons pris notre dîner au riad et Asna, la gouvernante nous a préparé un succulent couscous de poulet aux oignons et raisins vraiment très copieux et de délicieuses crêpes au chocolat et amandes accompagnées d'un thé. Le repas est à recommander.Le petit déjeuner est de la même qualité. Une adresse à retenir et à conseiller.

The owner took her time to show us the map of the medina, the sights and good places to go. It was a bit hard to find but afterwards it was clear that it's centrally located to the medina and the beach. The room was rustic and very nice decorated. The mattress was very comfortable and the whole hotel smelled nice. Wifi also worked good. There was no TV in the room but it only makes the room and the time more about traveling.

1ère à essaouira

3 jours passés à essaouira pour la 1ere fois, ryhad reservé au petit bonheur mais quel petit paradis au milieu de la medina. Un acceuil merveilleux, un petit déjeuner copieux, une gérante pleine de vie, un tres beau souvenir a ramener avec nous. Merci ! Et à bientot j espère.

Grazioso albergo a pochi metri dal mare

Abbiamo soggiornato nella suite vista mare, dotata di grandi e luminose finestre. Molto piacevole la terrazza al piano superiore, dove la mattina veniva servita la colazione e dove, la sera, ci si rilassava per godersi il tramonto. Personale molto cordiale.

Le riad est très bien placé, proche de la plage et assez calme quand la gérante ne met pas la musique trop fort. Il est très joli mais il manque clairement d'entretien. Problème de pression pour la douche, d'évacuation.

Zimmer und Bettwäsche waren nicht sauber, die Handtücher kaputt, alt und schmuddelig. Kommunikation mit dem Personal war schwierig, da es nicht Englisch sprach. Haben nach nur einer Nacht das Hotel getauscht.

Charmind little riad

Nicely furnished, clean and quiet place with lovely hosts (not too present) where you can really feel at home! We got the choice between 3 rooms, all authentic and really decorative! Simple breakfast by a lovely lady who can give you great shopping tips :) Just one thing, however they state so, the wifi was not working (temporarily). But anyway was easier to disconnect this way !

Lovely Riad with a home feel

We stayed in this Riad for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect within the edge of the medina and easily accessible to the beach and the markets. The room was very clean and spacious and the staff were very accommodation. I would definitely recommend this Riad.

Great hotel when you don't want organised trips

Beautifully restored riad mixing French rustic materials and colours with Moroccan architecture and offering simple but very comfortable rooms. It is located in a fairly quiet corner of the medina but close to a busy local shopping street that still has more 'normal' shops and a great variety of Moroccan snacks than the touristy streets close to the harbour. In other words, great location. What I liked most about Zelaka was the absence of package tours and guides on offer. On arrival, the owner carefully explained what they did and did not offer, recommended a few restaurants and gave us a map to help us find our way in the medina. Otherwise, she and the staff were discretly present but also very approachable.

slecht, kamer vrij klein, hele vieze, muffe rioollucht, matras van t bed hard, zeer ongemakkelijk, kussen en al 'klonters', kortom zeer oncomfortabel,wilden s ochtends douchen, geen water, gemeld, na een uur nog geen water, dus kortom, niet goed! na 1 nacht verrtrokken en een ander hotel .
