"This is a tough review for me because there is nothing negative to say. The staff is really great, everywhere is very clean, and there are an abundance of things to do. We stayed in a Villa suite and it was comfortable. I especially like that the bathrooms have real doors and separate door for the toilet. That’s important when you have family staying together. The pools are small and the slides are best for kiddos under 10. I think it’s super affordable. The decor is dated and the vibe is super quiet all around so nothing really stands out. If you’re from out of town, I wouldn’t say it’s the most convenient location, but if you are looking to do a staycation and get out of the city, then it’s great."

San Diego Mission Bay Resort

"The resort was excellent! My family and I typically stay in a condo on the beach, however, this time we opted to stay off of the beach for financial reasons, and we couldn’t have been happier with Mission Bay Resort. The room was spacious (two queen bed room), and clean. The food at the restaurants felt pricey, however, the food was delicious! The pool didn’t have a typical hotel feel of a small square and was very kid friendly. It was very close to Sea World and only about 3-4 miles to Belmont park. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We truly had such a great experience and will be back again!"

Lakehouse Resort

"This is the perfect little getaway for families. We have two small children, a toddler and baby and we had plenty of things to do as a family. The pool was my toddler’s favorite, the poolside bar was a great addition for parents ;) The boat, kayaks, etc rentals were such a nice experience. We rented the paddle boats and the lake is a perfect touch to give that true vacation feel. The complimentary bikes and s’mores kits were also a nice touch to our family time. The restaurants were also so nice! Amalfi Marina Bar and Brickman’s was the perfect way to end our night with dinner and drinks. Def a 10/10 experience!"
