"We just loved this spot! The layout of the property, our coffees on the deck area overlooking the property, Siegfried our host, just so many good things. The kitchen is equipped with the bare essentials. We didn’t cook at all there, so that wasn’t an issue. The bed was quite a bit different from what we are used to - more on the hard side. "It was very nice but we ended up leaving our dogs in our van b cause all the hotels are wanting pet fees now. Also the bed could have been bigger as we are two very tall people. "We loved our time at Angel’s Haven. The house is beautiful and architecturally unique. Nice outdoor patio area beside a small, but very appreciated, pool: nicely laid out and functional kitchen/dining/living on the main floor, and nice bedrooms on the upper floors. The views are great, but it comes with the price of being near the top of a steep road that’s a good 15 minute walk to the beach. "This feedback is about you VRBO and not the rental. We were shocked and dismayed at what you VRBO charge us the client. That tourism tax was particularly irritating. Other than advertising, managing the money and oversight the bulk of the work comes back to the owner. In this case you, VRBO, who even charge for a phone call if calling from Canada, are overcharging. Holding the entire amount is too much. When I booked through you I did it for two main reasons. "We are four retired women and quite enjoyed our stay. On the plus side - property is very large and very private. Wifi and air conditioning work well and showers were hot in two bathrooms but not .The pool was clean and well maintained. While we have no major complaints about the beds - the bed linens and pillows were in very rough shape. Bathrooms were extremely tiny and there was only one working kitchen. Overall the property has good potential but needs some work. Would stay there again."
