"We really enjoyed our stay at the Pocono Inn Resort, our room was spacious and clean. It also provided plenty of towels and toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion). The beds were also pretty comfortable and the bedding was very nice. Eugene at the front desk was awesome, he was super friendly and we spent quite a bit of time talking with him about the Inn and the local area. He was such a pleasure all weekend. There is a really nice gym onsite and plenty of sitting rooms in the main building to relax and hang out. There are also snacks and water offered throughout your stay, which is a really nice touch. The location is also very centralized to many places such as Bushkill Falls, horseback riding, restaurants, shopping, and more. Now for the cons…..there is a definite need for some improvements and renovations. First of all, the grass, it was explained to us that they are having trouble with their lawn guy and although we understand this, the high grass makes the place look abandoned and unwelcoming. The grounds are absolutely lovely, but you can’t really enjoy them at this point. The towels were very rough and maybe could be replaced. The bathroom door in our room needs to be replaced as it is falling apart. There was a back door in our room which lead to an outside “patio”, but there was nowhere to sit and enjoy and there are also hedges blocking the view. With all that said, we will absolutely be back and look forward to our next stay."

"Room had an odor. Who ever cleaned the day before left trash in the bathroom behind the door. The bed was odor with stains on it. Bed was soft and sinked in in the middle. Needs to be updated. If I didnt have to stay just that night couple hours would of left and came home."

"I would never tell anyone to stay at this old, run down place. No amenities in the room, room very small & old. Steps to building very dangerous. Room had a full bed, small round table, a chair & an old TV. Very old A/C unit. Bathroom so small you could hurt yourself in it. Din't even supply wash cloths. I woould rate it a 0 on a scale of 1 to 10. They should pay people to stay there, not the other way around. You are making a big mistake having them on your list of places to stay"

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in the Poconos. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. We especially loved the beautiful wooded setting and the loft area, which added to the cabin’s charm.The property was peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. It was also conveniently located within about 30 minutes of the local attractions we wanted to visit, including Bushkill Falls, shopping, and restaurants.Check-in and check-out were simple, and while we only communicated briefly with the hosts, everything went smoothly. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!"

"The property was very nice, and the location very good. I drove into the downtown area of Stroudsburg, and enjoyed exploring the shops, restaurants, and coffee cafes. I think the desk staff could have been a little more enthusiastic, and offered more of a friendly greeting when guests arrived and/or departed. The breakfast offered a variety of choices, and the kitchen staff was very nice & helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel!"

"Not only did the owner no provide a working phone number for issues, it took over a day to get a hold of her and that was only after I called and stayed on hold for over an hour with VRBO. The grill was filthy and had all the information wiped off so couldnt use it. NO HOT WATER FOR 1.5 DAYS. When we were FINALLY able to get a hold of her, she sends a handyman out that takes another 2 hours to get there and another 2-3 hours to fix the issue. The whole house smelled like musty poo. I asked her to address it, she then claims that was a normal smell for the area which is not true. All she offered were more air fresheners which we realized later they were all over the home so it's an ongoing issue. It was never resolved, despite what the owner has said in previous remarks. I would never stay here again just based on the poor response from an owner who turned their phone off during our stay and had to be tracked down to address a MAJOR issue during our stay. Terrible service and the house needs some serious work."
