“Gut und guenstig”
Needed and overnight stop on the way from UK to Munich - ideal place though we ate round the corner as the restaurant was more classy than we are! Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We'd stay there again.
“A good hotel for business traveler”
I had a pleasant stay at the Mariaweiler Hof while traveling on business. The room and hotel had a feel of a bed-an-breakfast. It can get a little noisy in the early morning around 6AM because of morning traffic at the intersection where the hotel is situated. If you're an early riser, this shouldn't be a problem. There is a gas station/convenience store next door for gas, water or snack. If you drink a lot of water, be prepared to spend some money on bottled water. While tap water may be safe to drink, water seems to be mostly sold and served in bottles (not gallons). The hotel owner and staff were very accommodating. The hotel restaurant had a small but eclectic menu, enough to provide choosy eaters some variety. Food quality was very good. The exercise room could use some equipment update and larger floor space. There was a tanning bed and sauna which I did not try. Complimentary internet connection was reliable. Some other more expensive hotels charge for internet use. Overall, Mariaweiler Hof was a good value and should meet most basic needs of business travelers.
