It is the most incredible historical sight . Desk and staff kind and helpful! Facility is a piece in time! Always stay here when in town. Close and walking distance to all of Durango! You’ll not be disappointed!

Loved the antiques and history of this hotel. The staff was exceptional. For the price we paid, I would have expected a cleaner room, more amenities, and a better quality of mattress. The bed was awful.

I loved the way the hotel is like stepping back in time..wonderful. Didn't like the fact that some guests were not entitled to a coffee maker, even the most basic motels at least provide a coffee maker. As a paying guest I found it quite derogatory.
