This hotel was surprisingly average in several areas. The staff was polite but not above and beyond helpful. Asked for some wash clothes but was told they don’t provide them. Very unusual! For the money, you probably can find better options.

The hotel is in a wonderful area with easy access to everything Dublin has to offer. My room was a little bigger than the sister hotel across the street, but a standard size for a European city. Staff were attentive. Knowledgeable and polite. I will stay here again on another visit.

Nice looking hotel. Nice people. However, for a “luxury hotel” and a 4 star. No. You want room service? Only between 3pm-830pm. Breakfast in bed? Not going to happen. Need toilet tissue or anything from housekeeping? Not going to get it. Housekeeping department is closed by 2pm. Want a drink in the lounge? Make a reservation. If you don’t have a reservation, they will let you know which other hotel you can go to. A drink in their lounge a reservation is required? A drink. Breakfast was extremely expensive, such limited choices for the €25. Scrambled eggs, that’s about it. When checking in, in the middle of check in, she stops taking care of us to answer the phone and instead of “please hold”, starts to give room rates and descriptions of the rooms. We are standing in front of her, half way checked in. It’s a pretty hotel, but certainly not worth the money when there are other 4-5 star hotels up and down the street. When checking out, they asked how our stay was. I said “just meh, it could have been better”. They said nothing. Nothing. That speaks volumes. I travel extensively always in 4-5 star hotels. Never again in this place. Spend your money elsewhere.

Emma and Rosilex at the front desk went above and beyond answering any questions, provided recommendations and even printed out maps for us. Both are very friendly and personable as well and reflect well on your establishment.

Clean, beautiful hotel near great spots in Dublin. Rooms were a wee bit small for an American, but the hotel was lovely.

I would give this hotel 5 stars if it wasn't for the overpriced breakfast. 20 Euros (discounted rate) I felt was extortionate. Such a shame because it would make me think twice before ever returning.

We loved staying at the Davenport! It is a very easy walk to many destinations like Trinity College, Grafton Street, tons of restaurants and pubs with live music.

The staff were terrific. Rebecca at the front desk was very informative about the area, tours and other sights of interest. Beatriz for the morning breakfast was very accommodating, professional and helpful. The morning breakfast 20 euro was well worth the price as compared to other options in the area The hotel room was upgraded, the bed was very comfortable ,everything worked and it was very clean

The place was excellent, however, we had a bad experience while dining there on 3/3 and despite the fact that we escalated the issue, it was not addresed until 72 hours later.

Valentines break
From the moment we were greeted by the receptionist to checking out , we were made feel so welcome . Room was lovely . Bar was cosy and super nice bar man . Location was great for getting around the city . I’m all ready looking forward to my next visit.

Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly. Only small issue was no coffee pods left for second night and cups were not cleaned. Very quiet too. Will stay again.

Reception staff were exceptional - my wife checked in as I was at conference and were so helpful. It was a wet evening and they helped her to room and giving advice about travelling for dinner later. Really impressed
