“Comfort in Dubai”

On checking in (at noon) I mentioned it was our wedding anniversary, and we were kindly offered an upgrade to a suite. In the evening we found a complimentary dessert and handwritten card; obvious attention to detail and customer satisfaction. The room was quiet and well appointed. Prego's Italian restaurant was very good, as was the breakfast buffet. The surrounding area has lots of other new buildings, and not too exciting but even had we stayed in a regular room, I'd say this hotel is good value.

“Fine hotel in ok location”

This is a fine hotel, the quality of the property as well as the service is good. The location is OK - but not perfect, a little far from main areas of Dubai Media City, which would be the main target area for the business travelers for the property. Great value for the money though, and if going on a budget, this is a very attractive alternative to the more expensive (but not better) other hotels in the area. I will stay again; but will prepare an extra 10 minutes to get to my meetings in the morning.

“Going to use the Media Rotana the next time I vist Dubai”

Fantastic hotel. The service was maybe the best I have ever experienced. My room exceeded all expectations. If you are traveling to Dubai book this hotel you will be treated to beautiful rooms and service that approaches perfection.

“Media Rotana all the way”

I got a very good price here for a 5 star hotel!!! I know people that stayed at other 5 star hotels in dubai for twice and 3 times the price that hold a good name like the Crowne Plaza but the Media Rotana is much more modern, spacious and accommodating. there is an exceptional amount of construction around the hotel but there is construction everywhere. It was quiet in my room and did not mind the noise but there isn't much of a view. Overall very satisfied and would stay here again. Very friendly staff as well.

Check out the Buddha Bar if your in town and looking for good nightlife.

“Nice hotel, great room”

Stayed for a weekend, and the room was great. Spacious, tastefully decorated, great bathroom, quiet. Had a fantastic meal at the Italian restaurant (they have an extensive charcuterie menu). My only complaint is that the gym was closed for renovations. They offered the use of the gym at a sister property, but the hours were limited.

Traveller's tip

Pay attention to the schedule for breakfast. The weekend I was there it ended at 10 a.m., and then no restaurant was open until 11:30 a.m.
