Good receptionist and bellman. Very good restaurants. No heater. Room is cold in the winter.
“Nice hotel with the best Japanese Restaurant in Dubai”
Im always using this hotel when i go to Dubai because its service is flexible and staffs are friendly and kind. Extra bed for kids will be provided in free of charge. Location is not so far from heart of Commercial area with Dobai Mall and Burju Khalifa. It is relatively near from Air port. There is a Avis rentacar office near from the hotel.
“A Wonderful Rough Diamond!”
I always stay at this hotel whilst in Dubai (usually on business) because from a price: quality perspective it is extremely competitive. The external appearance of the hotel, public areas and rooms themselves are pleasing and it avoids hosting noisy night clubs (often with dubious clientele) which makes it ideal for anyone wanting some peace and quiet during the night. Additionally the rooms and bathroom are quite large and spacious whilst the decor is fairly tasteful, even if the furniture/carpets can look a bit tired. The mini bar is well stocked and Wi-fi is free to all guests which is a huge plus! The location of the hotel is perfect- 2 minutes walk to Dubai Creek (ideal if you like having an evening stroll or to visit some other hotel nightclubs or restaurants in the area). Whilst breakfast is a fairly average affair, I've never minded because it is adequate and served by friendly staff. I have always found the staff great from Bell porter to Reception Desk to Duty Manager which is why I keep returning back to old friends! This hotel might appeal to guests who in general like boutique hotels but are prepared to settle for a bit less in terms of decor and ambiance.
“Good and bad”
This hotel is good value by Dubai's standards and it seems like a 4 star until you take breakfast and it falls short. The restaurants are good in the hotel otherwise. It doesn't have a bar and the internet service is not great. This hotel is just let down by a couple of points that I find important.
“ricardo”
old, poorly-maintained and mediocre service,

Area:
Deira, Dubai, United Arab Emirates: On the north side of Dubai Creek, Deira is an interface between the high-rise business city and the traditional Arab trading port. Modern malls give way to ancient souks selling silks, spices, gold, perfumes, and a lively fish market. A broad waterfront promenade leads past the dhow wharf, where the wooden vessels offload their cargos. Beyond lie the dhow boat-building yards, and Dubai Creeks ritzy golf and yacht club.
