"It's a nice stay in a nice little house, but with everything you need. Very clean Close to the centre of Detmold, 5 minutes by car and 10 by bike. Also close to some touristic points like "the Externsteinen" and das Hermanns Denkmal. The host was very kind. WE even received some beer and some homemade jelly at arrival."

"The location was excellent for my needs , close to the main highway and a local grocery store , and a quick drive to the main part of town. Angelika was very nice and helpful and answered all my questions and made great suggestions about the the local area , and her dog Wilma was a treat , she is a Great Dane puppy that is still in the goofy puppy stage of running around everything and everybody . If I get the chance to come back I will definitely stay here again if it is avaible ."

They have been around since… I don’t know when, but my grandfather used to take us there for dinner when we were visiting and even my parents celebrated their wedding there in 1972. The hotel retained it’s old school charm and luxuriousness, but still feels up to date. The staff is wonderful as well: welcoming and accommodating. (I needed an ironing board and iron, which was promptly provided and delivered...
