"Overall a good stay. Spoilt a little as we stayed previously and didn't have to pay for the pool etc. This time however we did as we booked through Expedia, although we tried to book direct there was no room availability. I think it should be as it says on the best western website,if your a resident then it's all included."

"We had a lovely room with high ceilings and a large comfortable bed. The small sofa in front of the TV was welcome. The staff were helpful and we had a good experience on our one night there."

"Really lovely hotel. Maybe a little tired but very clean and in a perfect location for walking to the beach and SW coast path. Staff very welcoming. We took our dog and he was welcomed with a separate eating area next to the restaurant so he could stay with us for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was an excellent buffet with plenty of choice. Bar and outside sitting areas with lovely views to the sea and all dog friendly. Highly recommend. "

"Great family friendly but luxury concept. Many staff members went above and beyond and were v friendly. some were a little lacking in enthusiasm. We were served plastic straws (not requested) with cokes which I thought was illegal now? Be great if there were more sides (vegetable) options on kids menu. "

"Very nice place to visit, warm and stylish with wonderful food and service. Place where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful countryside life. Cottage room are very nice with own fire plce and comfy bed but smells old and damp would be nice to have some better ventilation there. Same as swimming pool and jacuzzi nice pool but very shallow, once you in jacuzzi is hard to breathe due to chlorine and bad ventilation. Pet friendly but if you with a pet you have only option to stay in the cottage...

"This was a really lovely place to stay. We were a group of 8 friends, 5 of whom met at university and were celebrating 40 years of knowing on another. The property is characterful and quirky, and it felt very much like staying in someone's home. Had the weather been bad we would have found plenty to do in the house as there was a games room and a piano in the living room. "The hotel is located just in front of the beach. The hosts are very friendly and the anti-covid measures in place are very reassuring. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There is a large range of options for breakfast. On the minus side, the footsteps from the rooms upstairs can be quite loud."

"Just back from a 2 night stay over the bank Holiday in superior sea view room. Views were simply outstanding. Room was large and recently refurbished with a good shower and a big bed. Lots of power sockets. Fresh clean blackout curtains. We walked down the beach to the Cabin for Pimms and snacks. Cabin is also owned by the hotel.
