"We went here with another couple and enjoyed 2 junior suites next to one another without other rooms nearby. Everything was great: room, staff, food. We especially loved the birding tour with Julian Fernandez which started at 5:15 AM to look for quetzals (which we saw) and after breakfast we continued with the tour until 11. "The day we checked in they told us that there was no reservation even though I show them my Expedia receipt. Expedia costumer service had to get involved because they did not wanted to honor the reservation that was already paid for through Expedia. It took a while between Expedia costumer service and the hotel back and forth but finally they were able to fix the issue. Other than that we had a good time there. Good location, easy access for the surrounding areas. Awesome breakfast as well. "
