The piano player at 1902 restaurant at dinner was phenomenal playing um Kalthoum and other classic Arabic music. Really memorable. The staff is polite and extra kind and gracious. "Excellent stay, and very well looked after. We were sceptical having read some reviews, but in comparison to similar stays across the country it is in line with expectations. While the furniture in the bedroom was slightly dated, it was spotless, comfy bed, and excellent shower. Air con was great. Pool area was wonderful, especially after a long day. "Very good communication with us. Young man who checked us in was friendly and good English. The hotel is on the water but not a well traveled areas yet on the boat docks. We walked on the hill to the small local store for drinks and snacks and paid 1/5 what we had in the past. $1.70 got us 4 drinks, three bags of chips and ice cream! Room was fine, TV didn’t work and they did offer us “upgrade” room for $15 to one with A/C but we were fine in late March without."

"One could hardly get closer to the Nile! Superb vantage point! Apartments each have private entrance patio facing the Nile. Lovely, gracious staff greet and serve kindly. Improvements to make: clearer signage around this maze of ramps, apartments and dining rooms. In summary: a great place!"
