“Parking under construction”
There were about 4 major factors that influenced my decision to stay here: #1. Location #2. Breakfast Buffet #3. Self-Parking Option #4. Fitness Center The Good: The bed was SUPER comfortable--best night's sleep I have had in a LONG time! The room was comfortable and they offer complimentary wireless. They also have a beer and wine reception and a cookie reception, both of which I missed. I arrived at 10:30 and asked if there were any cookies left, but they were all gone. Small negative for that. The breakfast buffet was *good* but not amazing. I see that they have two prices, based on whether you get breakfast or not. I paid the extra for the breakfast, but discovered that they don't ask for your room number or anything, so that seems to have been a waste of money, since anybody staying there could probably get the breakfast. The eggs were watery and the waffles were old and tough, but for that, it really is a hot breakfast--not a continental breakfast, and the coffee was delicious and the plates and silverware are real and they serve with cloth napkins. The fitness center was super cool. The bad: The self park option was not available and you are stuck paying $26 for valet parking whether you want it or not. I had to negotiate to get a discount for the fact that they advertise self-parking but don't currently offer it due to construction. It seems to me that while they are under construction, there should be an automatic discount.
“Pleasant & Personalized”
I was incredibly impressed with Magnolia Hotel. The staff is very friendly and although it is a large hotel, it feels quite homey and comfortable. They have a milk and cookie hour! The continental breakfast was great, much more generous than most. The rooms are beautiful, with great big bathtubs and a neat, modern style. There is always someone at the door, waiting to open it for you. It was a great experience, they make you feel special. You know that you are not just another number at some gigantic chain hotel. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
“Stayed for a conference.”
Great location for the convention center, not specifically touristic, but just 10 minutes walk from the fun stuff. Most of the staff was helpful and very nice. One (only) was cut and dry... Borderline rude. But everyone else was so nice that I hesitated to put this on my comments, they might want to retrain her a bit. The room was nice, a bit small for this range of hotel. The breakfast was very pratical, not fancy, but fresh and well done.
“Nicely Remodeled”
Very Clean,Large room&bath. Firm mattress!
“Nice Hotel”
More than I was exspecting
“Hands down--Best hotel in Downtown Denver! A hidden gem!”
I stayed at the Sheraton for the first half of the week for a conference. The two hotels were the same price, but the Magnolia is 100 times better than the overhyped chain. The Magnolia is a hidden gem. I always stay at the Magnolia in Dallas, so I was excited to stay on my trip to Denver. I was not disappointed! Our suite was roomy, extremely comfortable, and beautiful. This hotel pulls out all the stops--great breakfast, cookies at bedtime, and a cocktail reception. Don't stay anywhere else. Trust me!

“Great stay!”
We've stayed at the Magnolia before. It's a fine hotel only 1 block to the 16th St Mall in Denver. We would recommend it to all! Fun happy hour, then cookies and milk, and finally a tasty breakfast in the morning! All FREE!
“highly recommended”
First time I'd stayed at the Magnolia, and if I get back to Denver, I'll stay there again. The location is ideal for downtown exploration; the light rail runs right by the front door, and places like the capitol and arts center are within minutes walk. Staff are friendly. A breakfast is included, and though I didn't actually take advantage of it (timing wasn't right), it looked quite a spread. The hotel room is reasonably spacious, and a coffee making machine is provided. The only quibbles I have are that the bed was a touch too firm, and that the finishing time for breakfast during the week - 9 a.m. - isn't convenient. For me, 10 would have been better. But overall, I was very, very satisfied with this hotel. For what you pay, you get value.
