The lack of Power points and the cramped uncomfortable conditions of the beds made this place a very disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend for a long term stay.

This was a well located hostel with lots if food and shopping available close. Some staff were very friendly and helpful while others were not. Single rooms were spacious. Property could use a bit of TLC and it would be really good place.

Very friendly and helpful staff. A bit loud at night but hey, it’s a hostel in the CBD! Great location and everyone I met was amazing.

Typical backpacker hostel
It's a decent hostel on the main street. Have a no alcohol policy which is a bit strange. Rooms and bathrooms are kept pretty clean considering the amount of people. A cheaper option than others, very good if you don't plan to spend much time in the hostel. Staff are helpful, can organize tours or give job leads.

Great and Amazing People Stay There
Nice stay overall. Pillow too soft and water shower head missing at some cubicle. No issue as move to another one. Opposite Coles Supermarket, bars and attractions. Easy to travel around.

Good location on Mitchell Street. Coles supermarket very close which is handy. Bed is very average, old school air conditioning in room with ceiling fan. Corridor is very noisy in morning, so if you've had a late night don't expect much sleep. Not bad price considering location.

What a disappointing stay
I arrived at 1:40am called the night manager but she was at another property so i was kept waiting for 30 minutes to check in. Once into my room i was met with the next door kebab shop and every drunk on the streets conversations, the air conditioner from the room above was constantly dripping on to the air con unit in my room so that was awesome for 2 days trying to sleep through. the staff have an affinity for slaming doors shut no matter what time of the day or night it is 12am BAM, 6:30 BAM, 2pm BAM. toilets and showers were in the same disgusting state the whole duration of the stay.... avoid this place its a giant rip off!!

Excellent hostel
Stayed here several weeks. Super clean hostel and relaxed atmosphere. Not a party hostel. Great customer service, central location and spacious (double) rooms with air conditioning, fridge + sink & mirror. Good kitchen and jacuzzi-type pools! Noise coming from the streets but can't really avoid that in party-Darwin.

It is what it is, a backpackers. totally acceptable. However my bed did not have any top matters so i could feel the springs, not very comfortable.

Roomstoo tight, bathroom is a geat a van would be fine. Little insects can be there, saw some. Less toilette paper, just in one cabine (4days). I really don't know what the cleaning staff is doing there?

It is a place with all basic needs for short stay. Its location is excellent but the pubs nearby are too noisy. All pots and pans are highly secured by the reception.

Despite pre-booking and telling them we were arriving around 1 am, we were kept waiting interminably because the one evening operator was also running another facility. VERY noisy room. Toilets were a disgrace. Broken shower with tepid water. Never again.

Stay 1 - Night before trip to Katherine Gorge Check in for sheets, pillow, cash bond for room key card. Luggage room for excess bags that needed to be left behind for a week. 4 person dorm room was okay. Had 2 long term people in my room. One was working as a tradie/labourer and had tools and work clothes/boots all over room. Didn't use bathroom due to gross condition. Was a Saturday night so my stay from 9.30pm to 5.45am was noisy with many disruptions throughout the night. Don't stay here if you need to sleep. Earliest check out without calling a night manager (who works between multiple properties) is 6am. Stay 2 - 9.45pm arrival again on a Saturday night. Same friendly staff member. Learned they are staffed from 6am through to 10pm daily. Other times is a night manager who patrols several properties. Bathrooms still disgusting but no other option for having a shower. No shower curtain or exhaust fan so entire bathroom is soaking, steaming. 4 person dorm room shared with three other backpackers who were in and out throughout the night until 3 am. Screaming irish english girls up and down the halls hourly. At 4 am an alarm was set off that would have woken all of Mitchell St and took maybe 20 minutes to be turned off. By this stage police were involved. Sirens, shouting.. At least i had a bed for the night despite no sleep. Did the job for cheap accommodation at short notice and for someone literally just passing through and needing somewhere to store gear for a week.

Does the job.
Was ok. Place to crash each night. Tried to have a shower but no hot water . Least it was 32 degrees I guess. Shower area was like a skating rink as well. Just down right dangerous. Torvill and Dean would have felt at home. Upside was the staff were very friendly and helpful. You get what u pay for. Otherwise try the Hyatt or the Sheraton I suppose.
