"I enjoyed the Bitterroot valley Hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. I enjoyed have access to water and got beverages all day long. I was disappointed in the hot tub jets, very whimppy! And since the poolroom has an outside door to a nice sitting area in the back lots of people were going to and from. The pool area had lots of dirt from shoes and feet and therefore made the pool room dirty. I think if the staff would just periodically go in with a wet broom and clean up a little it would be more appealing to go swim and hot tub. But over all a nice place to stay!"

"This property is IDEAL for families with children. The playground equipment was hardly ever idle. The hot tub was perfect for the 15 minute attention span of kids. And very much enjoyed by adults in the early mornings or late evenings. Jerry and Dawn treated us like family. It was so nice to have them close by. The dining room / craft room was always busy. Having 2 refrigerators was fantastic. Short hikes down the paths to the forest or to the meadow to see buffalo was awesome. We never experienced any problems with 2 bathrooms and 14 people. We highly recommend this property for a family get together."

"We came to Darby to fish and go to the rodeo. The guesthouse was lovely and remote enough to be quiet and not so much to be far from town, groceries, and dinner. It was a great time, and David was a kind and welcoming host."

"Great big sunny place. Unfortunately, we weren’t there much during the week except sleep spending 1st few days in Missoula w family coming and eventually shifting to Lake Como (Wood’s Cabin) for my sons wedding."

"It is a rare hotel where I will feel comfortable ever letting my feet touch the floor. This place was delightfully clean and well-appointed. A full kitchen with everything you need, Keurig machine with a full-loaded tower of a selection of cups. Very clean bathroom, nice sleeping space, and a beautiful two level design. The place was welcoming, and as I was not feeling 100% it was a wonderful place to retreat to in order to recover. I have family in the area and I would stay here again to visit."

"A very nice room with our own bathroom. A good location and Darby is in a beautiful area. Nice to have a full kitchen set-up, including a full size fridge. The biggest drawback was that it was quite warm when we visited, and the window a/c had not been installed and there was no screen on the window, so it was quite warm with the west facing window and difficult to sleep."
