“Cordoba Summer 2010”
Beautiful boutique hotel built on top of Roman ruins. The dining room has a glass floor sitting on top of the ruins. Great service and attitude. Free access to the modern version of Roman Bath (or bano arabe) in the spa. Walking distance to main attractions. Attempted to drive to the hotel ourselves. This is almost impossible for a non-native person. Finally followed a cab. Would stay here again.
“spectacular and luxurious place to stay!”
this is one of the loveliest hotels i've stayed in - the room, all the public areas are equisitely designed. it's about a 10-15 minute walk away from the sights (if you don't get lost which isn't hard to do). if i'd had a bit more time i would have enjoyed making use of the roman baths or the pool and grounds.
“Exceptional Hotel in a special city”
This exceptional boutique hotel was the best of the 5 premium hotels my wife and I stayed in during our recent trip to Spain. It is well located so we were able to walk, and it is important to walk to get a feel for the place, to every one of Cordoba's important sites. Our room was large and comfortable with a fine mix of the modern with the traditional. Dinner in the hotel dining room, with its glass floor through which you see the excavated ruins below, was more than good; it was truly memorable. The intimate pool in the courtyard was simply elegant. This is a place that we'd send our daughter on her honeymoon. There we no negatives in the experience other than that we were presented with another person's bill when we left; but that mistake was quickly recognized and corrected.
“5 Star Luxury in the Heart of Cordoba”
Super-friendly and efficient staff complement best-in-class rooms. Not cheap but you get what you pay for, unparalled luxury. Restaurant is a must, glass-floored over Roman ruins.
“Fantastic repeat experience.”
This was our second visit. We first stayed at the hotel n May 2009 and returned this year to visit the Feria and to meet up with Spanish friends. Everything about the hotel is first class; the stylish design, the courteous staff, the amazing tranquil garden and pool area in the centre of the hotel and the great restaurant. The only thing that had changed was the hotel's refusal to serve drinks/coffees in the lovely shady garden/pool area up until mid-day whilst breakfast was being served in another area. However, this is a small gripe (although not what we expected as last year this was no problem); otherwise this was again a wonderful stay.
“Very nice hotel in Cordoba”
Nice hospitality and friendly hotel personel.
“Stylish and comfortable”
Fascinating hotel blending history with a very stylish modern interior - there's a Roman house under the glass floor of the dining room. Food is excellent and the staff are charming and helpful - 4 out of 5 only because service in the outdoor courtyard was rather erratic: otherwise the service was very friendly and efficient. An excellent centre for exploring Cordoba.
“Very nice hotel”
I was worried that hotel would be difficult to find after reading all the previous reviews, but we found it without any problems . There are many signs around town directing to it. The hotel is very modern inside, great design and located inside the old palace. The service was super.
“Great hotel”
Beautiful hotel, good location, nice spa , very good food. and great service. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
“Extremely satisfied”
From the moment of arrival to departure we were well taken care off by all members of the staff.
