“Exellent stay”
The Hotel Churasco is an excellent place to stay, we stayed for two nights and enjoyed the sights of Cordoba. Points worthy of note, it is very difficult finding anywhere to park in Cordoba although the hotel have a decent size private carpark which will cost you 20 euro's per night/day, however driving down the 'very' narrow lane to the hotel is a nightmare as it is so tight in places. One thing that the hotel should make more apparent is that they do not appear to have a restaurant for breakfast and you are therefore encouraged to have your breakfast n your bedroom - this is a bit of a problem if you suddenly decide you want an extra slice of toast or a bowl of cereal for example. All in all though, an excellent stay and we would be happy to return.
“An excellent place to stay”
We were delighted with our recent stay. The room was large and had very good facilities. We had a superior room at a very good rate. Breakfast was fine. Service was very good. The hotel is very close to the centre of the town, and it is easy to walk everywhere.
“Excellent”
Great location, easy to find, walking distance to everything, very clean, quiet, great service, friendly staff, safe and secure hotel...the only downside was that the room was small.
“Small comfortable gem in Cordoba”
The hotel is small with elegantly furnished rooms, easy walk from Cordoba sights, in a quiet neighborhood. Would be difficult to drive there as streets are very narrow and curvy. We did better by taking the train from Madrid and a taxi from the train station. Service was very efficient and pleasant. Hotel is connected to a restaurant of the same name just a few doors down the street. Very elegant food with many regional specialities.
“Absolutely lovely”
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was extremely kind and accomodating. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the included breakfast is great. It's well located and charming.
“A gem of a hotel”
This is a beautiful little hotel with immaculate rooms, very well located only a few minutes walk from the Mezquita. Our room was quite small, but there is a nice patio and sitting room which you can use.
“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay”
During our eleven day trip to Spain, Hospederia De El Churrasco was somewhat of a shot in the dark, but proved to be an exceptional find. Being located in the twisty streets surrounding the Mezquita, the directions from Michelin were not quite up to snuff and we were a little stressed by the time we got there. The complimentary glass of wine was a good start to our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, classical style furniture, a very comfortable bed, big screen tv, plus the in-room computer and internet access. Staff was very helpful and spoke better English than we spoke Spanish. A decent breakfast is included in the base rate plus it can dressed up with different cheese, egg, meat, fruit, juices at no additional cost. Eat in the courtyard or dining areas. Our room had a terrace and breakfast was delivered at no charge at the time we wanted - perfect way to start the day. Bathroom was all we hoped for including bathrobes. Very quiet place and very attractive. Not inexpensive but a good value for the money. Close to the attractions of the old city. Had two suppers at the attached restaurant that were very good. Parking was 20 euros per day extra, somewhat more than other places we stayed. Highly recommended. Obviously you can spend more and get more, but for us any more would have been superfluous - this was one of two most expensive places on our trip and we were not disappointed
“A Gem”
A beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the historic Jewish quarter of the city close to main tourist sights (Mezquita etc). I am a confident driver abroad but have to say the journey involved navigating some of the narrowest roads I've driven down (folding in wing mirrors at one stage !) and my Sat Nav didn't recognise the street name (had to call hotel to get assistance) . That said I would DEFINITELY recommend a stay here - our room had a balcony with views of the Cathedral .
“Extremely charming, but practical also”
This is a rare find -- a truly charming and original hotel where everything works. Even the furniture in the room was interesting. Comfortable big bed. Up to date bathroom. The location was outstanding, just a short stroll from the amazing mosque-cathedral, probably the reason you are in Cordoba in the first place. The only mystery is why this is a three-star hotel and not a four-star establishment. (According to the manager, the hallways aren't wide enough and there is no elevator.) But this is much more enjoyable than many four star places.
“very nice hotel and staffs, great location”
Very nice little hotel in the old town. Great location and walking distance to Cathedral and other major local attractions. Very nice and polite hotel staffs are ready to answer your questions at any time. Wonderful breakfast in two tiny beautiful court yards. Room with wi-fi internet access, very clean and cozy, quite and safe.
