Fiji Gateway Hotel

"we stayed for 7 nights in a poolside room as a pre winter quick break. we had a great stay and travelled to different activities most days. we always find the staff to be very friendly and the food is not over priced like many Fiji resorts. there is on beach handy but the pool is really good for swimming and lazing around. The price of the holiday at the Gateway Hotel is very good compared to some of the other resorts that are not waterfront also. another thing we like is you can either take the free shuttle van provided from the airport or it is just a 5 minute walk. Once again thank you to the Fiji Gateway Hotel for another great short break."

"This place is excellent! Staff are very friendly and the property is great. Gave this review 4 stars due to check-in delay and felt as though staff may have been overwhelmed with the amount of people. Was not please with the amount of people staying at this property, there were too many people and some were rude but that is not the hotel's fault by any means. Just want to let you know this place can be crowded."

"Beautiful property. Atmosphere was quiet clean and peaceful. We felt a little isolated because there were no accessible alternate places to eat or walk to. Besides a primitive neighboring village. The people are kind and friendly."

"Staff were amazing. My son fell sick on the first day and vomited over the sheets. The staff changed them 7 times in two days all with smiles and empathy towards what is happening. Food was delicious and bed was comfortable"

"It was hard to leave Hideaway! I had a few hickups and staff were very responsive. One was an airconditioner that broke down, the staff quickly moved me to another similar seaside bure. The other was on my second visit when I had left an major electronic device behind in my hotel in Suva. Staff at Hideaway jumped in to contact the hotel in Suva, ensure the item would be transferred to Hideaway the same day. That was a huge relief. all in all, I would recommend Hideaway and I would stay there again should I ever be lucky enought to be in Fiji again."
